His VT was very tongue in cheek. I am not convinced that all of the stuff on his VT was even true. All of this talk about levels of attraction is very immature. I don't know how old you are, but perhaps you still have a lot to learn about attraction. I am getting on a bit and through my work and my own life have come across many couples who appear to be "a couple of levels apart" in the looks department, yet they still have very successful, long and happy marriages. As I have already explained attraction is not based purely on physical things.

Well short of this turning into a counselling session, all I would say is perhaps you need to look at your own self esteem issues. As you know from experience, a lot of what people say on twitter is just trolls being downright nasty to satisfy their own ego. It has nothing to do with fact.

It is always a good thing to remember when watching BB that we only see 45 minutes of highlights. We were lucky enough to see 2 hours of live footage too, although a lot of that was wasted watching the twins splashing around in the Pool, and listening to Sam's boring jokes. There is another 21 hours of the day which we see nothing of. I am sure Dexter was in a far better position to judge how Charlie really felt than any viewer. There had been much discussion about her dislike of the whole triangle situation. There are copious threads on the MF talking about Charlie and how confusing she was. The WHATM thread were tearing their hair out at times with her. Dexter must have seen something that led him to believe he was "in with a chance". Once again I say "He is not a fool"

He had created a persona for himself. Most housemates over egg it when they put their VTs together. Look at Callum I have met a few h/m's over the years and they are often quite different to how the are perceived in their VTs. It is a game show, for which you have to apply. C5 are only really interested in people who are going to be entertaining in some way and cause controversy. Dexter by his own admission has created a persona of himself for a long time. Stripped bare (literally ) he certainly did not come over in BB as some brash, womanising young man. Just a normal person with insecurities and vulnerabilities as we all have.

Personally I would far rather admire him for his work ethic, smart brain and determination, than his ability or otherwise to attract women.
