I'm not a fan of the smooshing together of names but I am a fan of the fact that Ginxter live on. Lovely that Dexter seems supportive of Gina today. To be honest, it's just nice to think a genuine friendship can indeed come out of such time spent together. Don't want to talk about it other than to say all this with Dan & Gina seems so sad to me ! Lovely to see Dex on BOTS last night too. He had opinions and this is good and he expressed them well and settled down as the show went on too I thought . As yet I remain uncertain about this CBB... but must give it a few days I guess.

Here's hoping they'll get Dexter back on on BOTS. One thing is sure: of last night's guests, he'd be the one who'd get the call. Was nice I felt that it was the launch night too as there was a lot of talking to the panel.

It was weird last night: I had no desire to watch any live feed. I have no desire to check the website. Could we not just scrap all the HMs and put Gina and Dex back in? They don't have to stay there all day: just go in for an hour visit each day for us to watch and then they can go about their respective gallivants!

Had a few days away from the thread needed the break was so disappointed at the outcome Monday night. Completely exasperated by the biased way he was treated by powers that be at B/B re. edits, presenters and certain regular guests one sided comments, Emma constantly referring to him as devious and then to top it all the realization early Monday afternoon that Sam was nominated for reality TV award 2013 I can't get my head around why this would have been done before he won and while voting was still going on. To my simple mind it seemed manipulative to say the least and the whole thing leads me to believe Dexter was stitched up big time. I now feel that if B/B have someone who they want to win for whatever the reasons, they can make it happen.

For above reasons I did not intend to watch any more B/B since I had watched most years since the 2nd one in 2001 however hearing Dexter was due to be on BBBOS I put it on , and sat down to watch, the main show still had a way to go, so believe it or not I fell asleep and missed Dexters contribution to the show ! woe is me !

Hope you don't mind me popping in occasionally even if I'm not watching the show I'm still a Dexter supporter and look forward to supporting his next venture .In my opinion he was by far the most entertaining best housemate ever.

Noticed Dexter received a lovely tweet from Marcus Bentley It just shows they are not all of the same professional judgement, nor is Ian Lee who I remember saying last time he was on that he liked Dexter but followed it by saying he wont win though, Did he know something then I wonder ? I have become so suspicious of the whole situation

Understand about the bias, but Dex is such a positive person, it is quite infectious and I do believe he will be the one that has a huge career from the back of BB.

No one seems to know much about Gina and her ex BF to be honest. Just glad that Dex is supporting her. I think most people now realise That Dex is a lot more genuine than people thought, he seems a really good loyal friend.

Let's hope that Charlie doesn't neck a bottle and a half of wine - just enough to make her "tipsy" and then demand Dexter prove his love while she reapplies her blusher and her lippy.

I agree Changa. She pulls out such amount of emotional crap and tries to make Dex feel guilty. She certainly cannot handle her drink.

I wonder if Gina's boyfriend got upset about her listening to Sams rambles on the last night in the house. I didn't have live feed so don't know how long he went on for. Its a shame, Gina seemed devoted to her boyfriend.

Dexter and Gina will be good friends for a long time, I think. It's great that he was there to support her today and I guess it shows how close they have become in such a short space of time and how much they trust each other. I think she was unique in the house as she was the only one to spend almost a week with him alone, I presume they got to know each other really well and it says wonders she was the only housemate to always believe his side of the story, to think he wasn't using Charlie for instance.

I was exactly the same - usually I would be constantly refreshing Twitter, the YouTube channel and watching live feed. But last night I didn't do any of that and only lasted half an hour through live feed before going to bed. It just isn't the same without Dex, but to be honest I feel that way about CBB as a whole, it's incredibly difficult to get involved in the characters as it's on for such a short amount of time and you already know quite a few of them already. I prefer the civilian series as you can relate to the characters a lot and get to know them as time progresses.


I definitely think it was engineered for Sam to win which is a shame, at one point Gina and Dexter were unbeatable but then they were given unfair destructive edits on the main show and tasks that made them look bad and unfortunately many people obviously fell for it.

I'm not sure why they would particularly want Sam to win - he was pretty much nonexistent in most major storylines throughout the show and wasn't a major character at all. He was also very crude and obnoxious, which I presume they were trying to protect. Is he the sort of example they want to send out to future housemates? The only thing I can think of is that it would be good publicity for them to have the cute little deaf kid win the show, but as we know the only true part about that is that he's deaf. If he wasn't I'm certain he would have done a Sophie and become as disliked as a bore could be due to his arrogance and rudeness.


Sending good luck to Dexter for tonight. I can only imagine some of the stuff she will come out with - she probably still won't be convinced it's not a gameplan!

LOL at that Dexter new tweet about a Housemate! thread. Celebrity Big Brother has started yet this thread has so far generated 11 pages and 15,451 views. It's now used by Dexter detractors as a place to bash him. I love the fact that Dexter is so active on twitter and he interacts with his supporters. He's got over 70,000 followers now.

I hope so regarding Gina and Dexter . Warmed my heart a little to see such lovely interaction. I agree, given the time they spent together they must've gotten to know each other well and although of course they weren't 100% sided with each other all the way (all the better really for they were able to question each other too), when it mattered they always seemed to believe in each other and have each other's backs in the house. I am glad to see that seem to become a friendship that continues on the outside. Attests to the genuineness and it's a lovely thing.

Had CBB on tonight but only half watching. I hear Speidi will be on BOTS. Which made me remember: several times Gina and Dexter were linked with Spidey last night and during the final. I did not approve of this comparison. It made me sad.

I liked Speidi as characters but I agree - Gina and Dexter are 1000x the people they will ever be!
