Was chatting to someone yesterday who said one of the papers had announced she was leaving. Haven't seen anything on here today though so I guess that was rubbish. Although it won't surprise me if she goes in the next year or so.

Stella was brought in under a fanfare as The Big I Am so I can't see really see Stella not being in charge of the Rovers anymore. It's a demotion of the character.

I mentioned this in another thread. The only other thing they could really do with her is have her take over the Bistro from Nick who is not fit enough to continue working there.

It would not surprise me one little bit if Stella took over the Bistro. I don't want Stella to leave anyway so, hopefully she does stay on.

Her contract finishes in May/June I believe so I think it will be announced in the new year once Liz is back in the Rovers that she is leaving.
This has been a huge disaster for Corrie. They should not engage in stunt casting and should have cast an actress with no viewer baggage.
The concept of Stella and Les Batersby is just ridiculous... I really wish they would forgive Bruce Jones who seems to be back on track. Bring him back for a 2 week stint. It could add great drama for so many characters...
