Saw a rabbit..
Green Thing

The other day I saw a rabbit running around in some bushes in my local area.. The area is quite urban and I have lived here for over 20 years and have never seen a wild one... I thought you only got wild rabbits in the country? .. Should I just take it as a wild rabbit.. Or should I be looking out for missing rabbit posters incase it's escaped from a hutch?

Used to have dozens of brown wild rabbits near where I live. They all disappeared after the floods of 2007 and never seen any since .

Wouldn't hurt to check and make sure there's no missing rabbits in the area.

There are quite a wild few rabbits living on roundabouts around this way so I guess it could be possible it was a wild one.

The wild ones I've seen are usually brown, occasionally black and have been quite small. If it happened to be big white and fluffy I would say it was an escapee.

Not uncommon to see wild rabbits in urban areas. Get a .22 air rifle and bag yourself a free dinner.

Yeah in my town soon as dusk hits the bunnies pop up on the roundabouts quite an eerie sight really

If it was brown and smallish, would be a wild one.
If it was different colours and large could be an escaped pet.
If it was grey, enormous, bipedal and speaking in a cod Brooklyn accent, steer well clear - vewwy dangewwous animal.
