Cat is called Amber but we've always called her Ambi

In-fact our baby thinks the generic term for a cat is Ambi

Often I say to him Look there is an Ambi @ random cats in the street! I need to stop doing this actually but he'll know to look for a cat

Amber is also Ambi-pure, Fruggerly head and Juggerly head

I always wanted a cat called Dave - especially a girl cat (Amber was almost a "Dave" or a "Yoda" )

Dave is the best name for a cat ever! Even if I do sound like a right twonk shaking the dreamies and yelling "DAVE DAVE!" Trying to get him in at night.

If I got another cat I'd call him Alan

My boy Loki mostly gets called "Rat Face". Funnily he gives me a glare everytime I call him by that name.

My cat is called Misty ( not my choice. We got her from a rescue centre and she already had that name)

We call her Misty Moodles or just Moodles.

Agreed. Dave is a great name for a cat.

A lady nearby once had a cocker spaniel called Richard.

I have a couple of pet names for my little cat Amy: "You stupid animal" when she walks right behind me and I step on her foot and she screams, and "Bugger off" (or worse) when she insists on continually jumping on top of me in bed even though I keep pushing her off when I'm trying to sleep.

I wouldn't swap her for the world, though

She's also known as Ambi-Purr, Amber Bear (cos she's teddy bear coloured - ginger tabby!), and Ambleside!

Mine have a few words that I can say to them and they know.

"No" as in no you are not going outside yet. I am not unlocking the cat flap, it's only 5am!

"Food in your dish" when they come in and start yelling at me without checking their dishes, then they look at me and then head to their dish

"Chicken" legging it to their dishes when they come in

"Mommas going to work" cue them flouncing off like they don't give a damn.

"Get out of the road" usually means they end up lying sprawled in the road, whilst I stand guard for cars, and they give me their best "and what?" Face

I love my cats!

We have Misteeq and Churchill

Misteeq usually gets:

Pretty Lady
Baba
Baby
Madam Muck
Slagbag
Bitch
Queen Bee

Churchill:

Sunshine
Gorgeous
Churchie
Wee Man
Bonnie Lad
Fat Man
Greedy Chops
Attention Whore

Yes we have some rather derogatory names for them, this is only reflective of how much we love them. Misteeq is an incredibly loyal cat, she won't even go near any strangers where as Churchill is up for anyone with a pulse lol.
