What gets me is that people seem to be fine that Carol is "playing a game" by being nasty to people and stirring trouble but completely against the idea that Sophie might be "playing a game" by being nice to people.

I don't actually think Sophie is playing a game, but even if the niceness was fake, how come fake niceness is worse than fake nastiness? It's like people's priorities are weird

Exactly. I think it's because people don't like to change their opinions and at the start it was mainly Carol's entertaining, Sophie's a bitch etc, when in actual fact Carol's the bitch and Sophie is being picked on
