If i get it at all, it will be the PS4 version

i can't justify buying a monthly game on PS3 when the Gen ends in a few months

I'm still struggling with that fact they want 30 plus for a disk which is essentially useless after a month when you have to buy 8 per month

If that 30 paid for the first few months then i'd happily buy or better yet there was no large upfront charge for the right to pay every month

How much was it? Do you get a couple of months play or just the one? I've been playing Wow a lot recently and don't have chance to play another MMO so just wondering if this will be worth my time along with Wow...

I got the PS3 version for 22 on Shopto, you get a month free play too.

The servers are sometimes hard to access during peak hours, though, that's likely due to it being launch.

Hmmm... Seems a bit steep for a subscription based MMO, I imagine it'll drop in price after a while.

Might be worth it though if it actually plays well, I played the beta but not enough to form a proper opinion of it.

I just want to make sure I can put adequate time to it but not sure I'll be able to with Kingdom Hearts coming out in a couple of weeks and me playing Wow a lot lol

I've reached level 19 so far, and am having a lot of fun, just done two dungeons. For the first time in an MMO, it seems like everyone understands their roles in the dungeon, the game has done well with teaching people the basics.

I'm currently a level 27 conjurer. I'm having a blast! Been playing since beta, and I'm still really enjoying myself.

I'm playing on the Cerberus server, by the way!

Despite what i said in post #2, i bit the bullet and bought it for 25 from Game

I'm loving it so far everything is explained in a way you can understand

I'm just got up to a part where i had done enough Gladiator Guild mission so the leader gave me permission to join other guilds, now i have about 6/7 different types of character i can level from Weaver to Mage etc, it really opens the games out and adds lots of new stuff to do

I'm going to stick about being a Gladiator for all the story missions and any side missions that will allow me to

One thing i don't like though is that to get the platinum is going to require subbing for at least 6 months

Best thing is that if you level up 2 classes, you get a job based on that class giving you access to new abilities and spells etc. For example levelling ACN to 30 and THM to 15 will make you a summoner.

Tbh, I have no issues with the sub, I'd rather we pay for everything up front than be forced into microtransactions. Plus Yoshida said they're planning to do a major update every three months.

My hard copy just arrived arrive with my 30 days free and already i'm worried

once i enter the code its like counting down the minutes until square want more money, how i justify doing the last few missions on Skyrim or the side quests on Saints Row 4,when they don't cost me anymore money

Hell what about when GTA comes out and i'll have to juggle it with FF for the first week until the 30 days are up

IMHO it's the best MMO since WoW. No one seems to have a bad word to say about it.

This game kinda came out without me noticing. I'd love to get it but the subscription is putting me off and there's quite a few games coming out in the next couple of months which would take away from my time on this. I might leave it until the new year.

Oh, what to do ?

It has been confirmed that anyone who has the PS3 version can upgrade to the PS4 without any cost.

We got it and played the early week and one more week, but then we got diablo 3 and my husband prefers that. However he is away for 3 nights so I might fire up ff14 and play that some more.

I'm Malcolm Tucker on Phoenix server if anyone sees me

Decent game but still lots of issues with the servers which at the moment mean I'm doubtful about continuing beyond the first month. I've no real confidence that they know what they're doing on the technical/support side.

Shame really because if they could get the servers sorted out this could be great.
