*The 2nd Annual DS Soap Forum Awards*
Hello all and welcome to the 2nd Annual DS Soap Forum Awards. Last year's host has since departed so I have took it upon myself to organise this year's awards. They're back and bigger and better than ever. It's just a fun thread so don't take it to seriously but it's a chance for us all to come together as a forum (my favourite forum on here) plus this forum is quite quiet on the weekends. Feel free to debate some of the soap awards or tell us who you've voted for, you might want to keep the forumer ones private or maybe not.
All the awards are positive so there'll be no negativity on this thread. Here's the rules:1. It's 1 vote per person. 2. You can vote in as many/as few categories as you please. 3. I'm going to be a killjoy, I'm not really a fan of these sort of threads. I think we've got a lot of great members here and people that don't win often feel left out. I think it alienates the lurkers and newcomers too, sometimes they may find it hard to get involved in the groups that we have.
I'd feel bad that I'd left someone out too, I mean who would I vote for best male for a start with the likes of Dullagj, Maurice, TK, Vaslav and Dan2008 plus many others. Besides everyone knows I'm the best member on here ![]() I was voted the best male on another site. A few people didn't like it and so bullying started. The person who owned the site said it was because I wasn't popular. Erm, I wouldn't have won it if I wasn't. ![]() I wasn't that bothered about it, but for some people it was really important that they won and were ultimately disappointed that they didn't win. |

I have voted for the soap awards though, that I do agree with.
Oh and Dullagj, you haven't got loads of posters on ignore have you? Last year it was biased because the member responsible for the member awards had tons of people on ignore and their votes weren't counted. |

I'm not a fan of forum members awards either - they seem a bit elitist, if your face fits etc.

Oh I know that Dullagj2 only wants to do it for a bit of fun, he has good intentions. I'm just airing my strong views as per normal.

You have a fight on your Hands....Vote Original and Best
![]() Thanks Dullag....I will have a little think before sending my votes across. Thankyou for your hard work ![]() Yes I know the intentions are for it to be fun, but it's not always taken that way. As I said going from past experiences these sort of awards have a habit of alienating members and I know that for Dullagj, he had the opposite intention in mind. |

Someone has a high opinion of themselves. I'm glad I have the ability to stay modest about myself.

Even if they don't win anything it's still great to come into a thread like this and have a chat/bit of a banter or whatever. |
