Just so I've got this straight - there is someone on here suggesting that none of the players in the current premiership league leaders team would get into the team who aren't even top of the league below?
You'll have to name them. With that logic Hamilton who were top could all get in the Rangers team which is obviously untrue.

No point having a rod when your bait is crap.
Just listing the Dundee Utd players doesn't mean squat. You listed an ex-Rangers player who couldn't get a sniff of the first team at Ibrox and he's playing for Dundee Utd. What Aberdeen players could get in the Rangers team?

This will be a brutal game, glad i wont be on the streets of Glasgow on that day.
To say Rangers are the underdogs is an understatement, Celtic will (should) run rings round them, might be embarrassing, but you never know with these things, could be the shock result of the decade, but i doubt it.

The pressure is on Celtic here though, they NEED to thrash rangers, if they scrape by or even get beat.....gawd.
Have you seen Celtic this season? Hamilton and Inverness beat them as well as Legia gubbing them 6-1. Celtic will be favourites but the pressure is all on them.

I didn't just list them. I left Dillon and a couple of others out.

A team containing Jack, Hayes, Rooney, Pawlett, Reynolds, Goodwillie and McGinn would win the Championship by a record margin. The Rangers probably won't even win it.

Guys like Ryan Jack and Stuart Armstrong are worth more on their own than the whole of the Rangers squad.

Average Scottish Premiership players. They wouldn't get a game at Rangers or they would already be there earning 3 times what they do at Dundee Utd. They couldn't even make Europe last season with a stronger squad.
If you're so good, how come your second in Championship?

Thought The Sons deserved a draw at least today. Cracking effort. Just no cutting edge up front, took our eye off Boyd for a second, he got a half-chance and scored.
Ah well. Staying in this League is what matters, a cup run like last year would have been nice though.

I've backed Hurlford and Bo'ness. I watched Hurlford recently and they weren't great but they have plenty of experience in their team and I wouldn't be surprised if they won.
So did I. Had them in a double that was paying just under 22/1. Fantastic performances by them anyway, Bo'ness especially.

Apart from armstrong, Mackay steven, cifci, Soutar, rankin you mean before mentioning any Aberdeen players
You forgot Paton, Dillon, Morris. Erskine, Cierzniak, Dow, Telfer and Bilate.

Of course none of them would even be in the The Rangers squad.

I mean, they'd need to pay transfer fees to get them and Sevco don't have a pot to piss in.

On more serious matters, a great win for Dundee at Rugby Park today. Made it a lot harder than it should have been when they got a goal back but sealed it in the end (3-1).

No idea what Samson was doing for our clincher though. He went up for a Killie corner at 2-1 in stoppage time, but instead of bombing it back to the goal as we countered he tried to make a challenge on the half-way line. Worth a watch on Sportscene tomorrow, or available on iPlayer (Alba) now.

With all due respect to the Dumbartons & Raith Rovers of the world, they're poor teams and the ability of Rangers to put 4 or 5 past them is effectively meaningless in showing how Rangers would fare against better teams.

Celtic will win that cup game easily.

Think you'll find Rangers fans are still hated more. Still, your club is comedy gold at the moment.
Comedy gold as we may be (and I accept that) - I would harbour a bet that we currently aren't harbouring 2 (proven) racists on our books ... I think you would find it very hard to find another club in the UK with such a negative press against them ... but yet your whataboutery has to some how have a go at The The The Rangers ...

Of course the "real" fans would see the bigger picture and admit that their club is in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons, but let's grade them:

YOU - in denial - how dare Rangers fans spell out the truth to me after what they have been through - ours is a lovely family club open to all (including celtic loving racists - who will continue to make a decent living from the club).
TIMBOY - let's send him back to Villa and wash our hands of him ... aka let's brush it under our everexpanding carpet .
BHOY07 - wtf just happened??

personally I think on this occasion bhoy07 has come off in the better light, but all jokes aside you have two racist first team players currently drawing a living from your good self - that in itself should set the alarm bells ringing and in this instance I don't think your choice of trying to deflect how poor Rangers are currently is going to do you much favours ...

OK Mr. Statto - no doubt you will eloquently explain to all us amateur understudies why the mighty European giants that are also known as Celtic are currently 3rd in that very strong top Scottish division??

Answers on a postcard please ..

They wouldn't get in the team. Who would they replace? Goodwillie or McGinn ahead of Boyd and Miller? Nope. You even tried to sign Boyd and he went to Rangers which shows the pulling power of Aberdeen. Stuart Armstrong ahead of Law or Black or MacLeod? Nope. Back up players at Rangers, like Dean Shiels or Jon Daly, would walk into the Aberdeen or Dundee Utd team.

If Dundee Utd or Aberdeen were so good why couldn't either finish second or win the Scottish Cup? Why couldn't they last more than 5 minutes in Europe? As for Ryan Jack and Stuart Armstong, come back when they can win a senior cap.

I can guarantee both Tonev and Griffiths won't be here next season. The club may look like they back Tonev, but they will punt him when his loan is up. He won't be here next year. In terms of the fans, most don't want them here.

Where have I said that Celtic are a good side? I was talking about Rangers not Celtic. Frankie was mouthing off saying how good his players are. No Rangers players would get into Celtic's team.

Celtic are standing by him the same way Liverpool did Suarez. Celtic don't care what their supporters think, that's why they sign guys like Griffiths and stick by Tonev. You're dreaming if you think they see you anything more than a cow to be milked for tickets and merchandise.

Your best player isn't even yours. You've had years extra time to build a squad and tens of millions more and I'd still struggle to pick a player I'd want at Rangers. Maybe Kris Commons if you could get him to stop eating or Scott Brown. The rest you can keep.

So you wouldn't want Gordon, Van Dijk,Izziguire,Gudetti,Lustig?

Tell you what, you can take Griffiths of us. For free.

I also said that the police should be involved and that the evidence should be make public so Tonev can be publicly shamed.

Only in the weird and not so wonderful word of a Sevconian can that some be described as brushing it under a carpet.

Maybe you need to learn how to read properly?
