Darren Fletcher is one of the top players in Britain according to Terry Butcher. Those severe head knocks have finally caught up with him.

Scotland look battle-weary tbh - our last game was a REAL game
Think it's took a bit out of us.

Comedy defending again. Can see this being 3 or 4.

Dissapointing Scotland have improved but we still lack quality against better opposition.

England aren't great so it just shows you how far behind we are from quality sides we still are

We are a good third level side

England are a good second level side

Wouldn't read too much into it. England just seem more up for it than Scotland. We've got bigger fish to fry these days, like trying to qualify for a major tourney. We had decent quality against Germany & Poland.

The best thing I can say is at least I didn't pay £60 to watch this Levein performance. England B team are coasting.

I like strachan but one major criticism is that he seems reluctant to blood new caps.

It's never anyone new that cones on, robertson probably the only discovery of his era.

Why is bannon coming on for example

Maybe strachan has heard me

Chris Martin has emerged during Strachan's time too, according to Wikipedia.

Don't think he is international quality to be honest although I haven't seen enough of him to be fair

Morrison has looked decent since he came on, Fletcher less so.

Morrison has I think it's probably time to thank darren fletcher for his services as he is unlikely to be playing much club football either

Strachan has been reading my earlier comments I think

Agreed.
Moving to another club and getting more first team football could do him the world of good though.

That's another player getting bloodied btw (Russel). Could you try also saying there is no way Scotland are going to score?

Lovely move and finish from Robertson puts Scotland back in it.

And an even better one from England restores the two goal lead.

Good goal but Raheem Sterling has been an embarrassment since coming on.

Good to see Russell finally getting a cap

If he'd started Scotland may have had more fire up front. He's been a very tricky customer since coming on.

Robbie Brady must be some player to be starting ahead of Andy Robertson for Hull.

I noticed he has scored twice for Ireland tonight so that may well continue

Russell indeed looked a handful. Pity he didn't get longer, worth another look.

From an Irish viewpoint, those results are annoying tonight. Scotland outclassed in Glasgow and Ireland put in a stylish attacking performance and hammer the USA 4-1. Just shows they failed to turn up on Friday and perhaps made Scotland look better than they actually are.

As for Brady, I'd have him in the Irish first XI. He seems an excellent dead ball specialist and his general play is good.

Possibly so as I thought you might struggle against the USA tonight and I though Scotland might have better tonight as well.

Many twists and turns to come but I feel Ireland or Scotland will probably get third but poland may well be second
