Hopefully they will do a follow pro
gramme about the new club, Gretna FC 2008.
Set up and owned by their fans, of which I am.one.
We now play in the Scottish Lowland League.
If you were also a fan of Gretna do you see Mileson as a blessing or a curse?

I wasn't a supporter of Gretna FC so i can't really comment.
I think there is mixed feelings about that among the old clubs supporters.
People are just glad to see a club back in Gretna.
Now more or less playing at the same pre Mileson level.

RIP Arthur Montford, the voice of Scottish football and true gent.

As a fellow Morton fan I saw him many times at Cappielow and he would always say hello.

Very sad indeed.

RIP Arthur Montford broadcasting legend.

Growing up with sportscene and scotsport Arthur and Archie made everything seem amazing.

The simple days of scotsport Arthur introducing just one game of highlights, maybe some curling from Ayr ice rink in the middle, then arthur returned for one ten minute highlights of an English game.

Sounds terrible to young folk now but it really was the end of a weekend highlight

Arthur Montford, Legend.

"My father told me that no matter how poor the game was, whether you were writing it, describing it on radio, or commentating on it, you must look for something worthwhile to talk about and do not be negative. And it was a thought that I always carried with me".

As much as I love TEG - he is coming across as bitter on BT Sport.

Poor opening 20 minutes but much improved in the 2nd half.

Qualified nonetheless with a game to spare so not all doom and gloom.

Well done to celtic for getting through the group.

However I would suspect you would need a VERY favourable draw to go any further as you would fear an absolute thrashing if they draw a half decent side

Jason Denayer believes Celtic are capable of winning the Europa League
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30196524

From the same article:

John Collins warned that Salzburg's team-work was a major danger.

"They are probably one of the best - if not the best - pressing team in Europe."
What is in the water up at Celtic park? Two bizarre statements. Imagine Celtic playing Legia again.

Ha, Ha, crazy stuff.

Let's be honest, just about every remaining club would love to play Celtic in the last 32.

The only sense that Celtic are capable of winning the Europa League is that the possibility is slightly above zero.

Looks like it is all starting to unravel for Craig Whyte & his crew - I wonder who else he will try and take down with him??

I think it is safe to say he wouldn't fare too well in any of the Scottish prisons so I wonder how he will try and save his sorry arse ...

I'm pretty sure a lot of his cassettes will be getting an airing.

Hopefully those two diddy teams on first don't ruin the park before the main event of the whole Scottish footballing calendar.

Some game at Dens Park. Great drama at the end. Aberdeen so unlucky at the end.

Biggest shock today, Spartans 2-1 Morton.

Though maybe not too big a shock as some of the top non league teams can play a bit.

It's going to be quite a weak last 16 of the scottish cup, if the big teams get drawn together again sure the sponsors are hoping they dont
