we play the best football in the league and are the best team to watch.
I'd have given Paton, a 4 match ban for wot he done, about the worst thing you can do to a fellow pro !!!

Looks like Clangers days are finally about up at Pittodrie. 8 clean sheets in Brown's first 10 games is great for a keeper at a new club.

7th win in 8 league games today, getting up a really good head of steam now. Hopefully United can turn Celtic over tomorrow and make it close going into the xmas fixtures.

I notice the gap between 1st and 5th in the hyper competitive Championship is 18 points whilst in the boring and uncompetitive Premiership it is 7 points.

The holiday fixtures will be very interesting this season.

Amazingly Aberdeen have picked up more points than Celtic outwith the matches between them. Usually the chasing pack fall away due to slipping up against the lower teams. To have lost twice to Celtic and only be 4 points behind them at xmas is very encouraging.

Celtic could have scored enough to win a couple of games today but United took their goals well and it's shaping up to be an excellent second half of the season.

The sponsors must be tripping over themselves to sponsor this brilliant and competitive Premiership?

Only sponsors tripping over should be specsavers on their way to the end of the referee sponsorship deal.

The sponsors don't want a league without Rangers and Celtic in it. Ronny Deila is making a 3 course meal of winning the easiest professional league in Europe and possibly the world. The only real drama is watching a pedestrian Celtic team shoot themselves in the foot over and over and who wants to sponsor that?

The Arabs played the better football today but the referee got the offside for Scepavic and the penalty decision badly wrong.

Uniteds next obvious target is to beat St Johnstone and dundee that would give us 40 points at the halfway stage which is pretty good.

We have missed opportunities we could have and maybe should have been top of the league

Aberdeen could have this as well of course.

January is a very busy month for league games, at the end of next month be interesting to see how the league looks if United and aberdeen are both no more than 4 or less behind, whisper it but I think there could be a challenge to celtic

What an utter shambles and laughing stock of Scottish football.

Billy Davies is being heavily linked.

This, from Daniel Taylor of the Guardian:

Not sure how closely Rangers follow events down here but I really think they would run a mile if they looked into Billy Davies properly

Daniel Taylor @DTguardian 50 minutes ago
Be warned. Speak to the relevant people about why he was sacked by #NFFC, for example. He's not a man any club should want working for them.

As several of the replies to him have already pointed out, it sounds like he'd fit in perfectly

I doubt they'll sack McDowell within an hour of appointing him as Sally's replacement.

You're only lying to yourself if you think that league is dififcult to win. Deila is making it look difficult, but he's not very good. Did your cheer the thumb scoring today?

A new manager will be in soon enough. Idiots were thinking Ally would be here for a year a few days ago

Celtic are averaging 2.23 points per match and are on course for 85 points which is more than what we got in 2012-13.

The main difference is other sides are doing so much better and showing much more consistency.

Unfortunately you aren't a big enough person to admit that.
