Dundee Utd had 12,000 fans there for 1st vs 2nd.
Hearts are getting such big crowds because they're romping the league, and because of the sense of unity about the club. Unity brought about because they, you know, actually didn't go bust. |

Merry Christmas all.
Especial thanks to all involved with Rangers for not even taking time off over the festive time from.causing so much general amusement ![]() I can even think in these troubled times as a St Mirren supporter of having the honour of being in the same division as them next season. |

I see we are still on the missing Rangers agenda dundee United tickets sold out for mcdiarmid park tomorrow so now allowing cash turnstiles thankfully.
Dundee United and aberdeen attendances have increased since their absence, but as I have said a lot Rangers absence has not really been significant in the east of scotland |

Big game today, really fancy a convincing Hibs win.
Hate to say it but what a fantastic away support for Hearts today at Livi. 7,500 tickets sold. After 3,000 at Cowdenbeath midweek. Feel sick now |

Don't usually watch lower league stuff but Hibs have looked decent. There's a lot of movement and they have a lot of options when they are on the ball.

Rangers were dire today. Hibs looked a decent footballing team, Stubbs doing a not bad job there

The stunning ineptitude on and off the pitch surrounding that club is some story, a comedy, tragedy, whatever, while some keep hoping or believing in a fairy story. The new co were a chance to start again, get properly financed, cut costs ( they have continually failed to live remotely within their current means - at least Lambias has a clue ), bring young players through etc etc. Rangers ARE a story, they ARE a fascination, in just how many unseemly characters, how much rank bad decision making and how much burying heads in sand is it possible to have. Well, down Ibrox way, LOTS and LOTS. Rangers supporters should much more concern themselves with what is and isn't happening with their club rather than how the rest of us view them. What an absolute mess ! And all some of you want to point to is "hey, folk still can't stop talking about us. Now, that really is "sad". |

Hibs played some good stuff but Rangers were poor. I think it has shown McDowall is out of his depth and just an Ally mark II given he picked the same team as last week. Probably best he sticks to coaching and a new manager is brought in quickly.

What manager is going to take that job? Rangers are a basket case. They may get somebody who has failed in the English Championship or in Scotland if they are lucky

I was more thinking along the lines of Stuart McCall or Barry Ferguson etc. McCall has done well with small wage budgets and getting the most out of average players in the past so this is probably a good fit for him. |

I've been a Celtic fan all my life. We will lose the league this season and to be honest I'm really not bothered. We don't deserve to win anything at the moment and it will be good for the game if Aberdeen or Dundee Utd win the league.
Celtic fans laugh at Rangers and their reincarnation but the complacent of our glory hunting support base has allowed for the long slow decline of Celtic over the past decade. |

If you ever frequent their main forums you will soon see that their next manager is going to be along the lines of Michael Laudrup, Roberto Di Matteo or one of the De Boer's.
