Have to say Aberdeen look very strong at the moment. At no point today did they ever look like conceding(never a penalty though)

It's some run alright and to be honest we haven't hit top form yet.

Just hope we don't screw up against St Mirren like the 2-2 game at Pittodrie. That late collapse by us still annoys me.
please do

and it wasn't a handball either for the penalty

United dropping points again just not consistent enough, good luck to aberdeen who I think might be in this for the duration.

30 years since a non old firm title winner, could this be coming to an end

Tomorrow night becomes Celtic's biggest league match of the season - pumping Killie is the only available option.

Good win for the Dandies today. Not even hit top form yet. Another gear is there this season

11 clean sheets in Scott Brown's first 13 games for Aberdeen now.

7 consecutive wins and clean sheets in the league.

Rooney onto 19 goals for the season.

Look at the stats dc posted and tell me that you honestly haven't hit top form so far this season?

Your current form is the stuff that your dreams are made of.

Tomorrow night becomes Celtic's biggest league match of the season - pumping Killie is the only available option.
Supposedly Henderson, Commons and Scepovic are starting tonight.

I think as a team we have virtually hit top form but the results don't quite show the dominance of most recent games. We should have won 4 of our last 5 matches by at least 4 or 5 goals but a combination of numerous missed sitters, great saves and McGinn's love of the woodwork it hasn't quite happened.

Getting away with it due to the way our defence is playing but we really need to kill games off earlier if we want to keep on winning.

That's what I meant, we should be winning games by more. Putting games to bed earlier Once the correct amount of goals per effort go in we will have hit top form.

I think there is another gear if needed.

Heard a rumour that Aberdeen are considering taking Ian Black from Rangers. That will get the red card tally up if nothing else

Not a hope in hell Ian Black will be wanted by Aberdeen.

Another day and another half a million pound loan for Rangers. Just gets better and better for them what with flogging their biggest asset to Brentford and now more debt but it will all be OK for instead of Mike Ashley sorting things out now there is talk of some Americans taking over
Looks like 2015 is going to be more of the same from Ibrox

More chance of Eric Black coming out of retirement than this

That all originated from an advert on AFC's website saying they were looking for a painter & decorator.

Also installed one of Ashley's mates as their new finance director.

That's amazing if true!

Celtic looking really good tonight, especially Henderson, and could have scored 5 but for the woodwork and a couple good saves from the Killie keeper.

Fantastic goal from Izzy.

Hopefully Scepovic can get the goal he really needs.

Despite dissapointing result at fir hill yesterday a 1 million profit announced by dundee United today excluding the sales of andrew robertson and ryan gauld.

Still no sign of Armageddon in the east of scotland

I see some Aberdeen fans are upset with Niall McGinn for being pictured in the Celtic end at Rugby Park on Monday night.

Since Derek McInnes was in the Sky Sports studio I'd assume that he gave McGinn the okay to be in there.

I'm not sure why that's a valid assumption, but regardless I don't see the issue here.

Leigh Griffiths was frequently pictured in amongst the Hibs fans when at Dundee.

McGinn comes across as a fairly sensible so with Aberdeen being top of the league over Celtic I just think he would get permission to be there first.

As Thumb has been since he signed for Celtic and as the likes of Diamond, Maguire and Hartley were pictured in the Celtic end when playing elsewhere.

The thing with McGinn sits a bit uneasy with me. I generally have no gripe about players going to watch the team they support but hearing he was jumping about celebrating goals which potentially harm his employer and current club does not look great.

It's happened in the past with Bebo, Diamond etc going to OF games but usually we've been in the bottom 6 and so it's had no direct bearing on the club. It's a little unprofessional and I have a feeling 'Agent Gerry' knew what he was doing by uploading the pic.

Ultimately though, all I really care about is what he does on the pitch for AFC and he's scored against Celtic several times, has the most assists in the Premiership this season and has just signed a new contract. Those are all slightly more important to me.
