When it suits them. If they don't want to pay a fine they resort to the 'oldco' line.

The fine was imposed on the old company. That is not in dispute. The question at issue now is whether the new company agreed to pay it.

So the basket case continues - £10m to survive but Ashley gets the keys to Ibrox and Murray Park or go bust again.

Will that be £13+ million they owe Ashley?

How on earth are they going to pay that back considering they sold their only real asset to pay last month's leccy bill.

This is the last bit of meat being picked off the carcass.

Better just turning off the lights now. Before Scottish Power do it for them.

As a fellow billionaire you should advise Mike Ashley how to make money.

No need, I'm quite sure the rent on Ibrox will make him a packet.

You don't think this will happen?

Everyone else on the planet has been expecting this outcome for nearly 3 years now.

Cmon now dc, we should know by now that wee Franco knows far more about Scottish football than the rest of the posters on this thread combined.

A bit like when he posted this last year.

For every £5 the Three bears offer to loan Ashley will offer £10.

You can buy players from abroad or in Scotland for relative buttons, develop and hype them up and punt them down south for millions profit, get into the champions league for a relatively small outlay compared to Newcastle, have thousands of customers buying merchandise if you're successful and you think Ashley would be making his money renting the stadium out?

So your masterplan for challenging Celtic is to implement it's business plan.

Difference being the money wouldn't belong to the club.

You would have thought Mike Ashley would have been keen on making sure MacLeod stayed at the club then.

If you think he will be buying players then you are dafter than Fraser Aird.

He won't care how the club are faring as long as there are plenty of gullible idiots wanting to buy league cup semi final t-shirts.

Quote:
“He’s built up Sports Direct from one shop to 24,000 employees and a £2.7 billion turnover. With his spare cash he bought Newcastle, for £134million and gave a £129m interest free loan, while turning it into a profitable club.”

The guy knows how to make money. Buying players and selling them on you could do up her quite easily. Make the team successful for a modest outlay, get into Europe, sell players down south, sell strips and merchandise and advertise your brand. It's business.

He won't make money from Rangers. Where are you going to get the money to pay him back the loan?

In that case you have to wonder why Ra Peepil are revolting about him getting Ibrox and Murray Park as security for loans and aren't welcoming him with open arms.

Your diddies and their 'title challenge' couldn't get two bob for a player. Who was the last player you even sold for decent money anyway?

That could equally apply to Rangers, fairly amusingly.
