What a joke of a club!
jenzie

first mistake they made was moving the game to a friday night for BT sport .....

"The six-yard boxes have been cleared of snow and the lines on the pitch, too, but it's a comical scene. It's ice skates the players need, not football boots!"

lol

"As if to underline the crazy conditions, Rangers full-back Lee Wallace runs up the left wing and takes a fresh-air swipe when trying to cross the ball - it stayed stuck in the snow when Wallace thought it would roll on. Madness."

surely one of his best passes .....

Mark, Berkshire: "Needs to be a dark orange ball not a yellow ball for a snowy pitch."
Allan, Perth: "No undersoil heating at Ibrox these days?"
Ab, Ayrshire: "Listening to BBC Scotland radio coverage. Their bias against Rangers loud and clear. Why give the Easdale brothers so much bad press. Did they not give interest free loans at least twice."
Gordon: "What does Liam mean no chance of Hearts shipping 16 points, there is no chance of them shipping 10, league is over."

wait
they DIDN'T use a dark orange ball???

yeah, there's a dark hidden meaning to that
jenzie

"Alim Ozturk digs some space in the snow to place the ball and lines up a free-kick for Hearts..."

might need another hole .....

Anonymous: "Any other conspiracy theorists out there wonder if the lack of effort to clear the pitch might have something to do with the current issues in Govan? The hierarchy might just think that a rearranged fixture will come at a time of higher morale both among the team and the support!"

Anonymous: "Canny believe the game was even on.. All about Rangers getting the cash. Should never have started the game!!"

Bill Mills, Inverness: "BT Sport dictated that game tonite, TV rules."

what, like putting a gun to your head and seeing is it's water that comes out?

I wonder which one of Ra Peepil complained about my post last night?

Well done the cowards involved

I await the statement from Chris 'Fury' Graham.

The undersoil heating was rerouted for the commonwealth games rugby posts. Don't know if it was damaged or not as it didn't look like it was working last night or it was too cold melt it effectively. Wouldn't be surprised if BT sport wanted the game to go ahead.

At 7pm it looked worse than when they cancelled it. How Bobby Madden can referee a game when he can't spot a football pitch covered in snow and ice I don't know.

I also have to add that if The Rangers are a joke for Friday night then Dundee Utd and Motherwell are just as bad.

It isn't exactly like this cold spell is a shock, it has been predicted for ages.
Mark.

Motherwell's game was postponed because high winds caused structural damage to Fir Park. Which is fair enough.

Dundee Utd, on the other hand, were trying to claim their undersoil heating had been on since Thursday. And if you believe that...

In that case I'm an idiot for thinking it was due to the weather!

The under-soil heating was on at Tannadice since Thursday morning.

Something to do with the bare parts of the pitch in the six yard boxes that has no grass growing caused issues as the undersoil heating couldn't handle the penetrating frost - apparently the grassy areas were playable.

Isn't that what sand is for? The Tannadice pitch was infamous for it.

First time I've heard being guilty on 40 odd counts of tax evasion/fraud and facing 80 years In prison unless fine was paid being deemed favourable as If the SFA will deem the 'glib and shameless liar' fit and proper.

A guy phoned in to Superscoreboard this evening to say Kenny McDowell had resigned - turns out he was right as Jim White is now confirming it.

Edit: turns out he's handed in his 12 months notice.
