never a competitive match, and why there's a league between them!

mcculloch should have had 2 yellows, celtic should have scored four or five in the FIRST HALF, and the worst guy on the pitch was the referee!!!

awful pitch too

rangers are going to struggle if they reach the premiership without a LOT of better players, and that ain't gonna happen!
Rangers would beat St Mirren.

Thanks to Celtic for going easy on us today. Could easily have been 7. McCulloch was a disgrace on a number of occasions as well
Were you at the game?

The pitch was awful. The racist thumb scoring was a simple goal that should have been stopped and the Commons goal was a good strike but the defending was poor. All this talk of Celtic scoring 7 is nonsense.` They couldn't even string 7 passes together.

The singing from the Rangers fans though
Rangers got thumped and outclassed and shows just what a useless worthless shambles of a club they are
Never mind you can cheer yourself up with some tea and cakes

On today's performance, Rangers couldn't beat an egg.

Celtic were absolutely abysmal for being so many years ahead in development and money. Your donkey of a centre back managed to boot the ball straight out of Hampden. John Guidetti's hat-trick was more like 3 touches and one of them looked like he was diving about like a cheat.

Embarrassing with a capital E. (A bit like our keeper yesterday tbh. )

Despite Celtic taking their foot off the gas after half an hour it was still horrendously one sided.

Our game yesterday could have went either way. Rooney's goal should never have been disallowed and United's 2nd was offside I think but that's the breaks, some go for you, lots go against you.

Should be a decent final, wonder what sort of ticket split it will be?

Highlight of the game was Ian Black coming up against Scott Brown.

Celtic were trying to the very end to score, this taking the foot off the gas is the most cliched nonsense ever spouted. Ticket wise you had 29000 between you which is poor considering either of you would want low to mid 20k for the final.

At least now we don't need to hear 'we haven't conceded a league cup goal since .....' from Aberdeen fans. How you managed to find a keeper worse than Calamity Clangers is some going.

He's not worse, just equally as bad.

Aberdeen sold 20,000, good going for a semi final. We sold 43,000 last season for the final so obviously we would have been looking for as many as possible although it's sometimes better having a smaller group of hardcore fans rather than the day trippers. United's 9k or so yesterday created a far better atmosphere than at the final of the Scottish last season when they had about 3 times that amount.

Celtic park didn't have a cup final atmosphere.

We will ask for about 23000 for the final but won't get that would imagine about 18000

Kenny McDowell lambasting his sides poor finishing - I missed this game - could've sworn they only had one shot at goal all game and that was a half arsed chip from Wallace.

Surely chances missed would be required first?

celtic clearly could of stepped up the gears at will.

the pitch was a disgrace though. shockingly bad for a semi final!

That was actually Celtic trying their best to score. Alloa scored more against Rangers than that supposed champions league team.

Ive some news for you - Celtic won. Winning is all that counts in semi finals. Doesn't matter If it was 2-0 or 7-0. Your team was so poor you didn't have a shot on target. I could have played in goal today.

Celtic only beat the worst Rangers team I've ever seen 2-0 and you have had years head start and millions more to spend on players. You're a poor team. Hopefully you go out the champions league qualifying next season as well and drag the coefficient down some more.

Another bug bear of mine is fans standing in seated areas was an issue in sections of the united crowd yesterday.

I still feel it's very selfish for those who don't want to stand for two hours, young girl moved to the gangway yesterday cause she couldn't see and was told understandably she couldn't stand there.

I do wish some stance was taken on this, I personally feel you should be thrown out the ground if you refuse to sit down.

Although it looked even worse at the game today.

Tayside police will throw people out who stand in home sections, yet larger away supports it seems to be relaxed for

Lots of hurt in poor Francis this evening.

Standing sections need to be brought back. As simple as that. It is safe.

It was 2-0 going on 5-6. Celtic had plenty gears left to go through. That Celtic side is one of the poorest in recent times and they looked so far on top it was Unreal. Even Stuart McCall knew during half time.

Why would you want the coefficient down? If Rangers ever get back in Champions League qualifiers, you'll want then seeded. Not that it's likely to happen for a long while.

I've never sat once at any old firm game or any semi final or final. I say go to the cinema if you want to sit down and bring back standing.

To stop teams getting money. Drag it down to zero for all I care, it means less money for Scottish teams to strengthen.
