Not surprised GMS went to Celtic early.
As for the Newcastle loans, are The Rangers pating them? Out of Ashley's loan. If so Ashley dumps 5 players wages from nufc, gets them off the wage bill and effectively gets them paid for with money he is due to get back?
Streete should be ineligible, played for NUFC under 21's and Port Vale already this season.

Look who is hurting GMS' interview is sickening as well, gushing about Celtic and the European nights in the stands. No wonder he barely tried against them when he was at you. No Ciftci, Armstrong or GMS for the final.

I'm not surprised because pretty much every club in Scotland is a selling club these days. Including Celtic.
I'm not hurting at all because I expected both players to go, thought Armstrong might go down South though.

I think the self proclaimed "bestest fans in the world" - sometimes known as "Juan Guy" when there is any bother were pretty silent during the 2nd half. That tells me and any "neutral" as to what they were seeing ... not quite the superstars that some on here think they are and it wouldn't take too much to rebuild a team to challenge that shower of shite ...

Of course when one of your nearest challengers and cup final opponents sells you their 2 best players - you can tell that challenge won't come from any of the other superstars of the SPFL anytime soon (not even the mighty Dons).

Rangers just missed out on signing Ant & Dec. Seriously though Ashley is not daft, paying the new guys out of a loan that will be paid back to him. Who needs player development and a long term plan when you can just shuffle the pack and get your money back

Mbabu a young Swiss defender and Streete is a young English defender.

Not bad business in the transfer window which is usually a bit of a non-event for most clubs.”

They may be world beaters for all I know but I would be ashamed and humiliated if my team went down this route. Mike Ashley and Derek Llambias are virtually picking the team now as well as running the club.

How is loaning players picking the team? Does John 'hat-trick' Guidetti, Denayer, Tonev and Wakaso mean someone else is picking the team? If they are good enough they will play, if not they won't. Spending Ł300k on a player from relegation fodder and you think you're Chelsea all of a sudden

Mike Ashley is sticking two fingers up at the SFA.

Nothing to say they won't play even if they are useless. Jig still get's his weekly game afterall.

What I was meaning was it is a sad state of affairs that your club are being told they are to take players in without knowing anything about them. Clipboard has probably never heard of half of them but now has them in his squad.

I want McInnes and his staff along with scouts to identify our signing targets and then make an attempt to try and get them. Surely that is what fans of every club want to see happening?

Mike Ashley is indeed sticking two fingers up at the SFA, he's also doing exact same to Rangers fans with his other hand.

Maybe you should concentrate a bit more about your real challengers at this current point - Celtic, ICT and Dundee United instead of trying to have a pop at us every couple of minutes.

It isn't so long ago you were telling us how far clear the mighty Dons were going to be in the league - how did that work out for you??

Nevermind if you keep your great run going you may yet qualify for Europe so you can get horsed in the Pre Pre Pre Lims from the Azerbaijan giants Spartak Spunkovic ... best of British.

Mash may be sticking two fingers up to the SFA but the rest of his grubby digits are in the Rangers till scooping out money for himself.
What a shambles of a club they have become. Loan players in so youth players no chance to develop and then be sold on. Rangers are going to have to do something to pay back all these loans and if they fail to get out of the league they are in then there is massive trouble brewing. Can't see season tickets being snapped up for another season of lower level football

You seriously think Rangers can challenge Celtic next season if they come up? You are years away from challenging. You need a whole new team. How are Rangers going to finance it?

We've just bought two good players from Dundee Utd. We might not do much in Europe but we will win SPL confortably for the next few years at least.

You are making hard work of the league so far. Rangers will be expected to challenge for the league title straight away. It's not like the old days when you needed players like Larsson or Laudrup, a couple of Dundee Utd players with a cap between them is seen as good business up here now.

You don't know much about Rangers. Who is it you support anyway?

A load of unwanted cast-offs to Rangers causing so much bother.

They'll probably do alright as its probably their level, even below it and this lot aren't even getting in our U21 regularly so may as well go out and try a loan

They were being tracked for a while by McCoist:

"I’ve been for a look at some of Newcastle’s young players already. I cover as many games as I can. We’re looking all over the place."

That was from the 1st of December. If you are in business with Mike Ashley and he has young players to send up and they are internationally capped then I can't see the harm. John Guidetti and Denayer seem to be doing ok out of it.

Expected by who

A stepping stone might be making a vaguely significant challenge for the Championship title.

As opposed to selling your best players to the mighty Brentford where they then pick up a 'slight knock' that has meant not a single appearance for the Championship giants yet.

The grapes are so sour I can smell vinegar!!

You diddy teams have no ambition, that's why you rattle around the bottom of the league achieving nothing in front of 2000 fans.

You had Paul Dummett on loan who went on to be a first team regular at Newcastle and your only signing was a guy on loan from Spurs. If you had more than two bob I'd have carried Shiels over on my back, but even he knocked you back and he can't get a game here.
