Two weeks after playing his last game for Celtic, Kris Commons signs new two year extension.
Keevins and co will be gutted about that.

It's what he isn't saying....

"The basis of any loan deal is that the players who arrive bolster the side and give the squad more depth. That's exactly what is happening here

= the terms of the loan deal say they must play

So technically Llambias isn't telling him to pick the 5 of our castoffs, the loan deal is

McDowall wants a pay off like Ally, there's more to this than a deal that says a player plays no matter what which sounds unusual and unenforceable. There's a lot of different competing factions at Rangers with their own agendas so what they are saying you have to analyse carefully.

Getting promoted this season is the plan and that is why the players were brought in.
And if Rangers don't get promoted this season, what's the err plan for next season ?

To be fair, do they really have a plan for even next week ?

A club built on loans and loanees, the Loan Rangers indeed.

Err, to get promoted? It's rather obvious.

If they fail to get promoted then the season ticket money will drop and the interest payments will still be stacking up and because they have so many loan players in the team and so many old worthless duds where is the cash going to come from?

I guess that is true. I was thinking that Newcastle were using Rangers to give these players some competitive action. And with Ashley having an interest in both clubs that's not an unreasonable action. I felt a little sorry for Kenny today but I wasn't sure he wasn't trying to push the Rangers board a bit. Either way, is integrating five new players into a team in one go not going to be a managerial nightmare?

Made up nonsense. Also Castle Grayskull is where the good guys live, which would make Celtic Park Snake Mountain.

Only chance Rangers have of being promoted is through the play off. Even then, I doubt you will win that. Rangers will be stuck in Championship for another season, that's if they survive by then.

Celtic fans offering up their expertise on their specialised subject - RANGERS. A club they claim died yet they can't seem to make up their own minds on that one ... the years of hurt we have caused to all of Scottish football are quite evident on this thread.

We even have a Hibee giving it big licks and a wee glance at the championship table would tell him he really should be keeping his gums in check.

Hibs are one point behind you.

Rangers have 3 games in hand and that is even with Hibs beating Rangers twice they are still a point behind.

As long as Rangers fans understand that Mike Ashley has absolutely no interest in you aside plastering his sports wear company all over your club and cutting costs wherever

I think most fans understand that and want his current representatives gone from the board - an EGM will take place on 4th March and that will tell us where we truly stand going forward.,

Other offers have been on the table to fianance the club apart from the loans and they have been rejected quite simply because the current regime would be collecting their p45's - that is why Ashley has managed to get his foot in the door.

Giving it big licks when you are potentially 10 points behind the worst Rangers team ever. Aye ok.

So, I gather of the 5 'great business' loanees from Newcastle to Rangers :

2 are still in Newcastle, because 'they are not fit', one who is at Rangers is 'injured' and of the two evidently currently capable of playing a professional football match and playing today, one last played in November.

And there new man of Steele, only lasted 43 minutes, & as for elbows he should have been shown a card straight red card 'Outright thuggery':

Another week and another stamp from Elbows. He is getting more of a thug as he gets older.

When clearly this is the greatest Hibs team ever

Poor argument! I'm just taking satisfaction at the demise of Scotland's shame (well after the original Rangers FC of course)

The gift......
