Season over Surely?

No questions to be asked of Lennon?
Not with CL games tbh - we're severely lacking in any attacking quality which I think has been our downfall - whether spending £2m on Balde, £3m on Pukki is all Lennon's fault I'm not so sure.

Tonight highlighted what I've suspected for a while. Celtic are a poor side.

I don't think Celtic have ever been great but they always had a heart, determination and fight to get results which just didn't seem to be there tonight.

Maybe it's financial pressures, Celtic Park never looks full anymore or a lack of competition but something seems different

It was full tonight - I don't think it's a lack of fight or heart, it's the ability to cross a ball into the box and put it away.

That first goal was some of the worst defending I've seen in a long time

He should have done better with the first goal but if you had punted him yesterday who would we replace him with?

Buffon? Valdes?

At 6ft 7in he is a bloody good shot stopper who is worth far more than the £2m we paid for him.

On another note I'm sad to hear of the death of blogger Paul McConville.

Do you mean William Wallace or the MP?

It's because Irish Republican songs have been getting Celtic fans into trouble with Police, several dozen fans have been arrested for the singing of IRA songs like Boys of the Old Brigade with police harassing fans at airports and their homes, yet each time it goes to court there is no convictions. So police are in the wrong but have free will to continue arresting fans for singing songs that are breaking no laws.

Celtic fans in the last couple of games are highlighting the idiocy of the police/laws that fans can sing the likes of Flower of Scotland at matches yet cant sing songs like Boys of the Old Brigade both are pretty much exactly the same only ones Irish and ones Scottish.

Depends what you class as Terrorists too, were the British who invaded Ireland/America/India/Everywhere else terrorists or where the Americans who fought and won Independance from the British the terrorists or the Irish who won independance from Britain the terrorists or the British the terrorists, the English who invaded Scotland, the Scottish who invaded England, the Spanish who invaded South America etc etc are the American/British who invaded Iraq and Afghanistan Terrorists? The Germans who invaded Poland, the Russians who invaded Germany, The Japanese who bombed America or the Americans who bombed Japan? Are The Palestinians who bomb Israelis or the Israelis who stole Palestinian land and bomb them the terrorists? Whos a terrorist and whos not?

As the old saying goes "One mans Terrorist is another mans freedom fighter!". Who decides who's who is up to them.

Well that is fine, Rangers just need to get out the Michael Stone and Gusty Spence banners this weekend. I wonder if no complaints will be made.

Nobody would know as nobody takes any notice of The Rangers and the likes of East Fife and Stenhousemuir fans probably wouldnt recognise pictures of the likes of them.

Compared to Celtic and Bobby Sands, globally known icons

Ok, but basically, cut the political banners out. The club just released a statement telling you to stop it.

Something needs done though, Celtic fans are being harassed by the authorities yet time and time again found not to be commiting any crimes.

So you can get dragged out a match, spend a night or two or three in the cells, miss work on the monday only to be released having been proven not to have broken any laws. Or you can be grabbed at the airport infront of family or friends, took away by police, charged with singing a song that police have you doing on video at a match, end up at court missing work again only to be proven not guilty.

If the Celtic fans dont stand up to it who will?

Or should Celtic fans continue to be harrassed over singing perfectly legal songs and have their and the governments time and money wasted constantly for no reason?

They aren't though, fans are still singing the same songs the did 30 years ago. The only songs that have been banned are ones with sectarian lyrics which I think is just "hullo hullo" by the darkside. All other songs are still being chanted, only now after the passing of the offensive singing legislation or whatever its called, Police are now arresting fans for songs that can be called offensive - even though its not illegal to offend anyone.

Me saying Aberdeen are shite is offensive to Aberdeen fans but I am not going to be arrested for it.

Let people offend and be offended. Like they can anywhere else in Scotland outside Football stadia.

Billy Boys was so loud in its pomp, but its been banned. Same with all offensive songs. Just move on. People do get offended with Republican songs.

The Billy Boys as far as im aware is the only song banned and its banned because it was an illegal(sectarian) song. If you sing it in the street now you would be arrested and found guilty of singing a sectarian song.

But all other songs are merely just "offensive" they are not illegal, so why are people being arrested for it? it makes no sence. What if a Police officer came up and arrested you in the street for singing Lady Gaga saying he was offended by it? it would never happen. As it would be absurd that someone could arrest you because they were offended.

People get offended by people having dogs barking in the street or by people who smell or people who look like neds/chavs. If offending people was a crime, most comedians would be locked up.

I find it hypocritical of Celtic saying politics has no place at Celtic Park.

Michael Davitt, was invited to lay the first bit of turf at Celtic Park in 1892, Davitt was an Irish Republican and MP who had been jailed by the British for Treason.

One of the first people to meet the Lisbon Lions, again invited by the club was Eamonn De Valera, the President of the Irish Republic who fought the British.

And just a couple of weeks ago ex-IRA man and MP Martin McGuinness was at Celtic Park shaking hands with the Manager.

Probably worst of all is they condemn Republican songs yet have the cheek to play Let the People Sing on the tannoy at every game
