There is little chance that Rangers team beats Hibs in the playoffs and if that happens there's a big question as to if the 40k plus crowds they need will turn up to watch a mediocre team in the diddy league, regardless of who is on the board.

I've a suspicion league reconstruction will reappear as an issue this summer.

Celtic set to announce a record breaking kit deal with New Balance according to one of the red tops.

Reality is that every new kit deal should be record breaking unless there is massive negative inflation and the cost of things is going down.

It's no suprise that Nike won't be renewing, they want to move out of football and won't be bringing out as many kits for football clubs. New Balance are paying more than Nike apparently.

I was surprised to notice the drastic decline in the quality of the strips when Nike took over, in fact the first Nike strip is the last top I bought. It certainly made me appreciate the effort Umbro put into their designs/materials used, I hope NB are similar and don't produce cheap shite like Nike.

Nike did bring out a couple of good strips. The 07/08 home one and the 125 anniversary top. The current home top isn't good though. NB hopefully will be an improvement over Nike.

I'm up for that

How's about :

14 team top division for 2015/16
No clubs relegated from this season's Premiership
Champions of the Championship ( OK, Hearts ) promoted
Championship play-offs decide the other promoted team

Sorted !

Not much more if it's a £29m deal over 5 years.

I see the LSE have been suspended trading in shares of an almost 3 year old football company.

Disappointing to lose our first domestic game since 21st December but what a strike it was!

Aberdeen will still be fancying their chances.

Celtic were half asleep tonight. Hopefully that will be a kick up the arse because Celtic have a treble to win and it won't happen if they play like that.

Poor performance but still 6 clear. Aberdeen still in hunt though.

The wheels fell off the Deilabus last night. Good goal to win it but it shows how a decent title race is never going to happen, even against this average Celtic side, with the closest contenders lying down or the other one selling their best players in the middle of the season when they have a cup final on the horizon.

Ah, so that's the excuse The Rangers are using for being so far behind Hearts.

What is this gibberish?

Start off by criticising Celtics manager because they've lost one league game this year and this somehow equates to Scottish fitba = Shite

Mixed up nonsense!

Clearly any Scottish Division without Rangers is shite. You're all shite, shite. May you all go to Hell. It's Armageddon without the Rangers

If you think Deilabus is a great manager and Scottish football isn't shite then you must be on some amount of gear. It is as poor as it as ever been. The only saving grace is Match of the Day was on last night to bleach my eyes from watching 5 minute highlights of fitba up here.

Dundee got flushed into the bottom six last night, where they belong with the rest of the diddy teams.

I'd rather support a diddy team in the bottom 6 of the top flight than a new team that's pretending to be an old team and struggling both on and off the pitch.

Oh dear, scraping the barrel there. A man who has zero credibility is your go-to source for the desperate attempt to cling into the old club.

If Neil Doncaster told me the sky was blue I'd go outside and check.

Rangers will reject any approach from them to try and give the Premiership some credibility or a sponsor. Sell out Saturday will surely fill the coffers? Oh wait....

You or the SPFL chief executive? Tough choice in who to believe with your vast experience of going to watch Dundee.

I'd be more inclined to believe the company that's actually being discussed.

"Club" means...a company.

The company, and thus the club, was liquidated. A new company, and therefore club, was incorporated.

Quote:
“Doncaster said: “In terms of the question about old club, new club, that was settled very much by the Lord Nimmo Smith commission that was put together by the SPL to look at EBT payments at that time.

“The decision, very clearly from the commission, was that the club is the same, the club continues, albeit it is owned by a new company, but the club is the same.

“It’s the same club, absolutely.

“The member club is the entity that participates in our league and we have 42 member clubs.

“Those clubs may be owned by a company, sometimes it’s a Private Limited Company, sometimes it’s a PLC, but ultimately, the company is a legal entity in its own right, which owns a member club that participates in the league.

“It was put to bed by the Lord Nimmo Smith commission some while ago – it’s the same club.””

What about that can't you understand? It was put to bed long ago.
