Well done wee Rangers playing above themselves to defeat Hearts final remaining challengers.

And superb season by Hearts, wave to us as we pass you going the other way

Yay, New Years derby with Rangers. They had to make to with Dumbarton this season.

I wonder how hearts will get on next season?

I would think their current squad is good enough for top 6 but not much better than that. They have the core of a good squad and will likely strengthen. Levein has a habit of bringing in unknown's who are usually more than capable of doing well in Scotland.

I can't see them being in any danger. W 25 D 3 L 1 is one hell of a record in the Championship. I wouldn't expect the lower half of the Premiership teams to get close to that.

Just at least keep that squad of generally young and improving players together and I'd say comfortably top 6.

Some of these youngsters were already putting together decent results in the Premiership in the last dozen or so matches before they got relegated and they're much better now.

Only up here can you get in trouble for telling the truth.

It's only the second dumbest thing he's said this season behind his hat trick statement. What defence is he going with? Better than the Celtic one I hope.

But everyone knows what the alleged offensive word means in Holland.

You don't seem to understand why he is up on a charge, which isn't surprising as you don't seem to understand Rangers are the same club.

If Guidetti was to say "Sorry, I didn't know what it meant" I would accept that.

He can apologise for comparing himself to Costa and thinking he was going to score a hat trick:

When asked if he believed he will score at Hampden, Guidetti said: "I fancy three. That is what I did against Ajax when I was with Feyenoord and that's the aim this time.

Diego Costa went four games without a goal a few weeks ago and no-one mentioned it - but when John Guidetti does the same it's the biggest thing in the world."
What a this guy is, please, please let them sign him. I really won't be surprised if he goes with the Tonev 'Ah never said that!' defence.

Celtic given two fines by Uefa for Europa League conduct:

Celtic have been fined nearly £9,500 over two charges of misconduct during last month's Europa League second-leg meeting with Inter Milan.

A penalty of £5,860 was imposed for "improper conduct" on the field as well as a £3,600 punishment for flares set off by fans at the San Siro.

And this is the seventh time the Glasgow club have been penalised for the actions of fans since December 2011.

Are we all excited for the scotland games this week, same old faces to look forward to as always.

Strachan has only really brought through andy robertson under his reign which is a disappointment.

Not sure why we need Hutton, Fletcher x2, Morrison, Maloney etc playing against Northern Ireland but they will all be in the usual places I suspect.

My concern is that if we got an unlikely place in the euros we would probably be one of the oldest teams there with a bit of a dads army feel.

Which is basically was the case all those years ago when we got to World Cup 98 where we were an old team then as well
