So Scotland were put out because they couldn't score one more goal against Croatia or Italy?

Imagine they'd had a 'luxury' player in the squad they could have put on with 20 minutes to go against a tired defence.....

They'd have lost to Italy if they had played Harper. See, I can make up unfalsifiable arguments too.

The only problem there is that I didn't say that Scotland would have won if they had played him.

Was that not what you were implying? With him they would have won? If they scored one more goal against Italy or Croatia, like you hypothesize they would have with Harper, they would have won 1-0 or 2-1 and went through.

I'm saying that if they had an impact player, a super sub if you will, that they could have introduced with 20 minutes left to go then they may have had a better chance of going through.

It may have work, it may not have worked.

You can be as contrary as you want but any reasonable person wouldn't leave a player like him out of the squad.

Oh well. That's the first lie from the Glib And Shameless Liar uncovered.

He said that they would have a new NOMAD within days.

Pressure growing on Jackie McNamara no wins in 9, 1 point from last 18 in league games.

Could they yet slip out the top 6 if they lost to Dundee in midweek

Maybe the universe doesn't think it can cope with St Mirren and Morton being in the same league.

Good weather and a good solid win today. With McCall in charge at the start that would have been a league decider today. Hearts look very average and only looked half decent when their best performer, referee Bobby Madden, was helping them out when McCulloch was sent off.

Don't be silly, that red card was well deserved, you don't go into a tackle elbow first.

Teams tend to switch off when they have already won the league.

The useless referee was giving Hearts undeserved freekicks and letting them away with it all day.

Teams are trying to win every game, they were outclassed today and even with 10 men Rangers should have scored one or two more.

Hearts were desperate to go out on a high, whitewash us, and they're trying to score 100 goals this season. They wanted it today.
