Celtic ask the SFA to explain why the penalty for deliberate handball wasn't awarded.

What sort of answer are they expecting to get?

Embarrassing from Celtic. How many decisions have gone their way over the years. One decision goes against them and they start crying about it. You lost, get over yourself.

Really?

Actually, why am I surprised?

Maybe what was said between Muir and McLean and who made the decision,?

I can understand Muir missing the handball but not McLean, he had a great view of it. At best a terrible mistake.

This is getting ridiculous. Have celtic never had a decision go in their favour

That the referees were wrong and that they will be demoted.

More likely though the SFA will claim the refs didn't see it and award them the cup final.

You think only 1 decision has gone against Celtic?

McLean has previous for being involved in terrible decisions against Celtic this season.

How often have two referees been within 15 yards of each other, had an unobstructed view of a blatant handball and choose not to give the penalty?
Mark.

Permanently demoted, or simply given lower-league games for a couple of weeks?

An explanation as to why both refs missed an obvious handball. Both had good views. If they were unsighted the incident I could understand it, but they weren't.

If the SFA did that, there would be no referees left.

There should be a proper demotion to the lower leagues for referees who put in poor performances, happens in England yet up here seems the worst you are the more chance you've got of getting glamour ties in the SPFL and in Europe.

There is a demotion system.

Gary Hilland used to be a category 1 referee but was demoted and is now a linesman.

I would expect them to close ranks and stick up for their officials.

McLean chopped off Rooney's goal in the League Cup semi when it was 1-1 for absolutely no reason at all. That probably denied us a place in the final and the chance to defend our cup. We get screwed while McLean get's the reward of another showpiece occasion.

It was also McLean who allowed Motherwell's goal to stand against Aberdeen that gave Motherwell 2nd place in the final minute of last season.

I have my own suspicions on several refs, I'm sure everyone does but I just can't ever see the SFA hanging any of them out to dry.

I haven't been on here for ages , so well done to Dumbarton for a great season. They had double their normal crowd for Rangers ( no surprise) and even took the lead,

What are the chances of Rangers getting promoted

If i was ICT I'd be writing to the SFA asking why the ref didn't send off/give a penalty for the Zaluskas punch

McLean whose brother was on the books at Rangers and Motherwell and who chose Northern Ireland over Scotland?

I had forgotten he had played there as well.

I assume that is Kenny Clark on the radio - 'I assume he didn't see it'

What about Alan Muir - no one mentioning why the two didn't see it.

From the angle Muir had he could have been obscured by Meekings head so I can see why he missed it. I just wonder what he said to McLean.

What view did the linesman have?
