You are wanting another strike then? Will that bring your treble back?

It was basically to no purpose really apart from appeasing a lot of their fans, Celtic FC demands answers. And by such a highlight on the reply that the officials didn't see it then probably the cause of the SFA's retrospective attempt to ban Meekings.

Pretty shabby by Celtic.”

Celtic are obviously saying to any official in Scotland - make a mistake or don't spot something that hurts us then your name will be mud ... essentially they are putting pressure on officials to give them every decision going.

Most don't write high and mighty letters to the football authorities demanding answers and making it very public ( mainly for their poor 'cheated' supporters )

Yep, if it even works on the subconscious level with officials.

"Hmm, it's not absolutely clear cut here, am I sure ? I could do without the hastle ..."

Basically implying officials are corrupt against Celtic ( and that IS what they are doing ) just helps the mob get loose, and that is hastle.

you couldn't do that deliberately if you tried 1000 times.

This is the only time this season Celtic have complained about a decision. The mistake on Sunday was a blatant handball. Everyone knows it was. Both referees should have seen it. If it was unsighted or harder to see, the club wouldn't have complained.

Let them go on strike. Last time it happened, we got better refs from abroad.

This is absolutely disgusting, nothing but sour grapes, trying to put a stop on what will be the lads biggest game of his career, all because they lost!!

Glasgow Celtic, ashamed by nothing, Ofended by Everything!
Mark.

Yes, you did, despite being the root cause of the strike in the first place.

Clubs in the lower leagues, whose fault it wasn't, had their games postponed.

Actually he wouldn't have played in the final if the correct decision had been made. He can hardly complain about it. Are you saying that Celtic don't have a right to be aggrieved? You wouldn't be saying that if that was your team.

I laugh at all the anti-Celtic posters frothing at the mouth because Celtic have made a complaint about a referee. If any other club complained, nothing would be said.

You are taking away this guys cup final because you couldn't beat a wee diddy team when you were 1-0 up.

I wish Celtic would go on strike. You're ruining the game for others because you can't handle you lost.

So you keep saying. However, he should be banned because of the handball, If the correct decision had been made, so he wouldnt have played would he?

Its the refs that are ruining the game by not getting decisions correctly. This goes for all teams, not just Celtic.

Getting the guy banned out of pettiness is really low. If you'd have went through despite the handball you wouldn't have complained just like you haven't complained in the recent past when decisions went your way. That's what happens in football your manager says. Obviously only when you benefit from it.

Don't try and act like you are doing this for the good of Scottish football, you are doing it for yourselves because you blew an easy treble.

Are you seriously claiming that if rangers had put a complaint in, you and all the other obsessed on here wouldn't be on here puting the boot in?, come on now, be honest.

I wouldn't care a jolt if Rangers complained about a referee. It would be within their rights to do so, just like any other club does.

They are beyond paranoid. At least everyone else can see the depths they will sink to and Rangers aren't even involved. The referees should boycott Celtic games.

I'm not a Celtic fan, I'm English but I think Celtic are acting smalltime here.

Maybe it was the wrong decision but unfortunately mistakes get made. Something's go in your favour and some don't.

A little like Celtic getting a second chance in the Champions league after being well beaten because your opponents fielded an illegible player near the end of the game which would have had no bearing on the result.

It all sounds a bit whiney arse tbh.

They'd clamber over their granny for another chance at something they lost. This is one of the lowest depths they have sunk to in recent memory. No class at all.

The main problem with Steven McLean (also Bobby Madden) are that they are two Sevco Supporters who continually give mental decisions against Celtic.

See McLeans sending off of Majstorovic or Madden's penalty awarded to Dundee Utd from a Matthews tackle - two of the most baffling decisions i've ever seen, where clean tackles were won without a glimmer of any kind of foul even opposition fans/players/managers never batted an eyelid and then couldnt believe it.

McLean especially in only about 10 Celtic matches he's refereed has a list of about 7/8 penalty denials, wrong sendings off, clear hand balls missed that nobody else would have managed - if he's not biased then he shouldn't be refereeing Primary School games.

Beyond paranoid indeed.

I think you'll find that loads of folk with no agenda against Celtic think their actions here very poor and have expressed that view quire widely.

That includes myself, a St Mirren fan, but as Frankie has detected before much preferring Celtic to Rangers. I would certainly say just the same if it had been Rangers, though for all their many faults that club itself has generally seemed better losers even in their much more normal and sucessful days.

As a St Mirren fan im sure you'll recall Goncalves dive winning St Mirren a penalty against Celtic a season or two ago. Just as a posted about about McLean and Madden refereeing Celtic games, I cant mind which one of them it was but I know it was as only they would have given a penalty against Celtic for a clear dive that was outside the box that 90% of the people in the stadium knew that: 1. was a dive and 2. was outside the box
