Celtic need to get a grip on this, every club has it's problem fans, the trouble for Celtic is their problem fans are very vocal about their support for the IRA, if you are a top tier team on the worlds stage, you really REALLY dont want your team to be seen supporting terrorists by the whole world.

A real worry here is that a lot of normal celtic fans follow the lead and chant IRA stuff at grounds also, a lot of celtic fans it seems are IRA supporters, look at the posts from some on here, "one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter" etc..etc.

But, as i say, the club needs to sort this out, they know who these people are, ban them!!!

18 smoke bombs, 3 fireworks, a flare & £10,000 worth of damage to seating. Great stuff. It'll take someone getting seriously hurt or worse, before sense prevails.

When Celtic won the league in 2004 - 1500 seats were broken during the celebrations at Rugby park.

No need for fireworks within a stadium and smoke bombs should never be thrown on the pitch - but some of the hyperbole projected in the media over recent weeks is pathetic.

Its happened accouple of times over the last week, think it was Rangers, and maybe motherwell.

Those responsible should be banned for life.

There are smoke bombs at Hearts nearly every game, would assume they're everywhere at the moment.

Celtic suspend 128 fans from all home and away fixtures pending investigations and also will relocated 250 fans from section 111 at CP following the events of Friday night.

Fridays antics by the Green Brigade were unacceptable. However, I find it ironic that a Hearts fan can act all high and mighty when your club's support can be just as scummy. All clubs have idiots in their support. There's been plenty of incidents when Hearts play Hibs.

I presenting the facts not being high and mighty and I will criticise any team that commits unacceptable behaviour.
That lot have been getting away with it for a very long time and I said on on an earlier thread no one in authority have never had the b***s to do anything about it.
Also clubs should not allow any flags or banners in to grounds unless it is football related.

Seems suspending 128 and relocating 250 people isn't enough for certain journalists.

Broken seats in a football ground a bigger story than the Clutha disaster??????

The Daily Record reveal their agenda yet again.

In that case why didn't you criticise Hearts for their fan attacking Neil Lennon at Tynecastle in May 2011?

Maybe he was on jury service at the time.

I did it on another forum.
I apologise not coming on to this forum to do it.

The irony - no doubt the punishment will be a one match ban if you fix a draw and 3 for a win.

Really, so please inform us which club you support- so we can see if your self righteous posturing is actually hypocrisy of the highest order.

And Auld Reekie, 'excellent' is spelled with an 'e' at the end and not an 'a'. Apologies if you're still at primary school.

You must be struggling if that is the best you can back with so thanks for the spelling lesson.
Always the victims.

EBT Campbell claims Scotland doesn't have a problem but in reality nobody knows how big the problem is!

We have players in the 3rd division playing for not much more than petrol money. If they were approached I'm sure quite a few of them would struggle to turn down what would be a relatively life changing amount for them.

Morton in 2003-04, when they were winning the league by 12 points at Xmas, but then completely collapsed, finishing 4th, that must have raised eyebrows at least.

Maybe the green brigade should try your defence. "It wasn't our fault because someone else, somewhere else did something else that was bad!" Celtic have faced up to these drunken thugs shaming the club and said no more.
