48 Hours Klaxon alert!

Mohsni to be charged by the SFA within the next 48 hours, although his agent says his career in the UK is over so whether he'll be 'punished' is up for debate.

He'll plead not guilty and it'll be like Diouf and Bougherra from their shame game.

As a Rangers fan, a few points:

1--I am sanguine, and quite happy that we lost. We need to, and will, rebuild on and off the park. Deadwood cleared away, better tactics and players, strengthening off the field as well. This is a great opportunity to bring some talented young players through as regulars: Gallagher, Hardie, Murdoch, Sinnamon, Gaspaotto, Mckay, Walsh. And others. Allow them to flourish for a season in the second tier. Bring in/keep a few older players of quality. And when we buy, buy smartly. Someone like Scott Allen will do nicely.

Celtic and Scottish football fans better enjoy laughing now, because everyone with a brain cell knows Rangers WILL be back. Rangers will strengthen on and off the pitch.

2--Moshni was a disgrace. Erwin was also a disgrace.

3--The Motherwell fans were an utter disgrace. If Rangers or Celtic fans behaved like that, we'd never hear the end of it. McCulloch deliberately hit in the face, the pitch invasion/mass taunting at the end. And the Rangers forums are full of other stories: Gers players in the main stand being spat at and taunted at FT. Well fans causing trouble outside the ground after the game. We aren't saints, but well done the Gers fans for not reacting to the pitch invasion.

So that is the end of the professional football season in Scotland.

How do you rate your teams season out of 10?

I'll give Celtic a 7.5.

We started slowly but once we finally got going we played some fantastic football.

Considering Hearts, Rangers & Hibs were in The Championship, for us to finish 7th with 6 games to go was pretty good. Our football was awful for roughly 1/2 the season. New management team in for next season, Aitken seemingly enjoys his teams to play open, attacking football. Back to scoring 3 and letting in 4 *or vice versa* will do me

eta - 6.3/10

Older players with quality? There are none at your club.

Virtually every signing made since 2012 has been absolutely useless so I'm not seeing where "we buy smartly".

Why would you need to buy players anyway? Hearts won the league by about 20 points without buying anyone. Get a half decent manager and coaching set up and they would win the league at a canter most likely without the need to buy anyone at all.

However I did have a read at a couple of Rangers forums and the talk is of "more than £10 million required", sign Johnny Evans, sign Ikechi Anya etc etc. Great for a laugh if you like fantasy stuff.

How many players did Hearts lose from the time they went down until the time they went back up?
How many did Rangers lose?

From the start i never thought Rangers would progress through every league without a hitch, it would have been an amazing feat if they did, but it was unlikely, granted a large art of that was the manager and the boardroom problems, maybe this year will be different, who knows.

As for the behaviour after the match, disgusting from these "professionals" from both teams, and the fasns, well, those proven to be on the pitch should be banned, simple as.

What i do like though, is how excited everyone in this thread is so excited that a club they claim is new, with no history has not made it to top flight, their obsession is clear.

That's what I love about fans of The Rangers, the humility they show.

Well fans causing trouble outside the ground after the game.
You'd have thought that the The Rangers support would have been out of the area by the time the celebrations were finished. They went on for a long while after full time.

A spokesman for the Glasgow Archdiocese said: "The Archbishop (Philip Tartaglia) was invited to participate and declined. However a representative of a Catholic lay movement will go along as an observer."
Not Keith O'Brien is it?

Kevin Cawley is a great signing for Dumbarton.

Yeah. Decent player, always impressed when in the opposing team.
We also signed Grant Gallacher, another former Celtic youth, any idea how good he is?

I'm glad to hear that you have interests other than this forum.

I thought I posted a fair amount when I average 5.09 posts a day so I was shocked when I noticed that you averaged 80% more than that.

Don't really remember him from his time at Celtic if I'm being honest. Just another of the kids that come through our youth system and then disappear at the end of it. It is something that Celtic really need to fix.

From googling him and reading his twitter timeline it looks like Stranraer were sad to lose him and they had a great season.

Had the goalscoring boots been on tonight Scotland could have had 6 or 7.

Didn't exactly set the pulse racing - probably not helped by the coaching staff stating beforehand that it was pretty much a bounce game for Scotland ... be interesting to see what sort of shape the Republic vs England game will take.

I would say this isn't the ideal friendly for the republic given that 99.9% of their squad ply their trade down south I am not sure what they are hoping for out of this game.

Celtic are helping fund St Mirren's championship title campaign by holding our preseason fixtures there.

I guess that means our friendlies will actually sell out for a change.

Will Celtic Park be available for first CL qualifier?

Yes.

They'd have announced it by now if we were going to use Hampden.
