£14 mil for a championship player. Absolutely ridiculous .
In the last 2 years Middlesbrough have pre-tax losses of £38.8m.

Their income over the last 2 years has been £27m.

A basket case of a club, they seem to forget the build up to 1986.

Hardly surprising given his background.

Shame they wont reveal what he said.

I'm sure the Orange Order will be proud.

Not excusing Kirk Broadfoot in any shape or form whatsoever, but meanwhile James McClean gets to insult a whole nation and well....

Shows up the SFA for the cowards they are.
You don't even get a 10 game ban for biting someone up here.

Since when has turning ones back when a anthem is played been a crime?

McClean did nothing wrong.

Not a chance if it happened in Scotland the same thing would of happened.

It may not be crime but it IS acting like a antagonistic fud, would you turn your back at a wedding/funeral because you don't agree with the religion? i don't agree with any religion but I wouldn't directly disrespect them either, despite them being responsible for more deaths than the British empire.

BIB - Would the SFA even take a complaint like that seriously? I find it extremely hard to believe that there isn't sectarian abuse dished out on an almost weekly basis between players up here. Unless you think Broadfoot is a one off and only became a bigot when he moved down south that is?
The FA have given Broadfoot a longer ban than they gave Suarez ffs.

Aberdeen have released an official statement about the seagulls.

There was a massive amount of them at last night's match and in our previous home match the scout from Rijeka likened it to a scene from Hitchcock movie 'The Birds'. We have an audio warning system and also fly a hawk before matches to deter them but as soon as people are in the ground eating they return, now in even larger numbers.

The seagulls are a nightmare all over Aberdeen and the council have done absolutely nothing about it.

The seagulls are quicker than Adam Rooney.

They seem to be getting braver (or more desperate), they're swooping lower and lower now, last night in the south stand they just inches above folks heads, coming from all directions, sometimes you don't see them coming, just feel the draft as the swoop over the top of you and yeah some are way faster than Rooney.

Black Grape were in Aberdeen the other week so the club had the opportunity to ask Shaun Ryder for some tips on how to get rid of them.

Probably do a better job than the Hawk is doing that's for sure, one look of Shawn Ryder would likely scare them off.
My solution would be to get Scott Brown in to clear up the unwanted pies, no unwanted food lying about no seagulls. Remember the last Celtic game, after he scored he stood in front of the Merkland stand puffing his chest out and some kids threw a couple pies at him, he cleaned up those pies from the ground in no time.

RANGERS FC (you eediots) are now FOUR-TWO up against hibernian in the challenge cup!
hibs had the better of the first quarter and scoring, but rangers simply were better, and up until the 60 minute mark the home side were desperate to get a goal back!

they got a penalty and scored that, to make it 2-3

but rangers just scored a great goal to go back two goals up!
