Anyone care to explain how in the hell Willie Collum has managed to referee the UEFA Super Cup final - he's not fit to ref the Petrofac training cup!
Seeing Scottish referees get games like this sometimes makes me think we live in some sort of alternative universe. Either that or referees are even worse elsewhere.

What a night at Tannadice.
Another great game of football in the Premiership.

6th or 7th for me. Although it's hard to seperate quite a few of the teams. I think Dundee may well finish just above them.

A couple of decent signings before the window closes could be the difference between 3rd and 7th for several teams.
Would hope we can sign a forward for some money rather than some of this overseas freebie foreign dross that has come in

The young keeper looked a bit suspect at the goal. I see an experienced keeper who could also do some coaching became available yesterday.

Dundee derby looked like a cracker of a game. Unfortunately it was on at the same time as probably the best European game you'll see all season. Imagine that game being on in the summer when everyone is bored and there is no football on. It would get good viewing figures and maybe some more respect for the game here. The boy Blair Spittal looked a real talent. I remember him at Queen's Park against Rangers.

Disappointing result after the first half but a perfect example of what happens when you don't take your chances.

Some cracking goals tonight.

So Kallum Higginbotham says that he found an extra 10% last night after reading the comments from John Collins.

It is a shame he is robbing the Killie support by not giving 100% every week.

So it seems Celtic are now leading the race to sign Scott Allan.

Cash plus 2 players (one on loan) is the strong rumour.

I read elsewhere McGeouch plus £600k, without McGeouch in the deal it was £300k.

Truth be told I don't really rate Allan. Do either of the youth players The Rangers have taken on loan from Spurs play the same position as him?

I agree I never really rated him that highly at United originally , he was okay but never got the fuss, went to wba , never played and did the rounds then back here.

Doesn't want to go back down south so looks like he might be joining you

McGeough and Henderson for a season - I somehow think Hibs won't be missing Allan.

Meanwhile we get someone that is probably better than Rogic - I think he'll play more than you hope.

Henderson?

Would rather he stayed at Celtic.

Sevco fans will be jumping off bridges, its hilarious.

Agree though, Celtic don't need him and I cant see him getting a game. The strongest area of our squad is the attacking midfield positions... Johansen, Commons, Armstrong, Forrest, Stokes, Mackay-Steven, Rogic, McGregor and Henderson. 9 players already here for the 3 positions he'll be looking to play in although Henderson/McGregor may be part of the deal and Stokes may be sold.

If anything Celtic need a striker and centre-back as Van Dijk will leave and then after that the next weak spots in need of squad players would be defensive midfielder and left-back.

Can't disagree with that.

Izzy hasn't really had any competition for 5 years. At times he played great and then shocking but we don't really have cover for him. Another player for his position will keep him on his toes.

Id rather keep him too, I think he's too good for that League, if Hibs play Henderson in Allan's position, basically a free role in centre attacking midfield he'll run riot, he has a good eye for goal and could easily see him getting over 10 goals from that position.

Allan's best attribute is probably his eye for a pass but his passing isnt actually that good, Henderson may not have the playmaker type vision but he's a better passer of a ball too.

Scott Allan confirmed then.

Hospitals will be full of the sisters/wives of Sevco fans tonight who were going on about him for months like he was Messi.

You just made it easier for Rangers to win the league, thanks.
