I think there was more to the Boumsong deal than meets the eye.
Agree, Souness bought him when the Old Club were known to be in financial trouble. I can't even remember Boumsong being that good either, youd think a player who was signed for free and being sold for £8m which 11 years ago would probably be the equivalent of about £15m after 5 months would have been one of the best players to have played in the League. But most people I dont think would say he was anywhere near it.

Pity then that his organisation skills went AWOL last week at two set pieces.

Rumour Celtic sell on clause is 15%.
Wasn't his fault though other players were the ones challenging for those balls. If Van Dijk was where the balls were coming in he'd have won the headers for sure.

As he would have in the home leg against Malmo if that player hadnt ran into him as the ball was in mid air blocking him.

They need to show the biggest club in the country playing at home on BBC.

That's the worst reasoning I've ever heard. He got found out at European level by decent strikers, not even top class ones like he will be facing next week.

Your big team isn't on the TV. They choose the game the most people will watch and that is the biggest team in the country, Rangers. Deal with it.

My big team went out in the previous round.

No, they chose a lower league club at home to a Premiership club.

But the way they've gone about it stinks.

Your big team is still in it. Just need some bus fare through.

They chose the biggest team in the country and the one with the most fans, hardly a surprise. The BBC will have learned their lesson.

Shame 'the biggest team with the most fans' went missing when a share issue was raised.

No, my big (and small and medium-sized) team went out in the previous round. You really need to read posts.

No, they chose a lower league team at home to a Premiership team. It means there's a story if an upset happens and the Premiership team goes out.

You know as much about Rangers share issues as you do about celebrating Liverpool Premier League title victories.

No they chose the biggest team in the country to televise and celebrate being let back into Ibrox to report. St Johnstone have few fans and are no draw at all even though they are a 'Premiership team'.

Dundee fans need to dream something up to take them away from the reality of watching Dundee

Craig Whyte has now been arrested along with Green today - Police Scotland not wanting to miss out on deadline day.

Both in court tomorrow along with one of the administrators.

Jesus f#cking Christ, that looks like something a child would write to defend his favourite player. I don't even know you but I'm deeply affronted for you.

Celtic confirm signing of Simunovic and Deila confirms we'll strengthen again in January.

Unfortunately until then Griffiths, Ciftci and unwanted Stokes will lead Celtic's attack.

Motherwell meanwhile sign Man Utd's U21 captain on loan..

I am in the odd position of going to support ol' thumb- my least favourite footballer ever- live on Monday, assuming he plays.

Please don't **** up too badly Leigh.

Sadly Ralph Milne seems to be in serious condition in NInewells Hospital in Dundee with serious liver problems.

He probably hasn't helped himself in recent years with his drinking but he is just 54
