A change of manager will solve nothing. The fault lies with the players. They aren't good enough.

The Levein going places era was fairly disasterous, however the Strachan era which the media and fans have bought into is going nowhere as well.

The reason it's going nowhere it's primarily the same squad, strachans game guarantees to players, not playing players in form and bringing no one through is costing us big time

Our pool of players is atrociously bad. What the Hell has happened to us?

Why does James Forrest get a game? Or James Morrison? Or Steven Fletcher? Or Charlie Mulgrew? 4 players who are absolute toilet. Sack the manager.

Replace him with who? There's no top manager Scotland can attract. Even Ferguson couldn't get these players to perform.

I suppose Strachan was the logical choice. He's a decent enough manager. It's his choice of number 2 I object to. What the Hell has a dud like Mark McGhee done in the game? What insight is he offering the manager and the players? He's flopped virtually everywhere he's been. Some places more spectacularly than others. It reeks of jobs for the boys and I thought more of Gordon Strachan than that.

Replace him with someone who doesn't choose crap like Fletcher up top. Strachan failed in the biggest game and failed dismally with not even one shot on goal vs the 147th ranked team in the world.

You haven't put any names down. Whoever gets the job will get the same results. It comes down to the players. They aren't good enough.

Sack him and put the job up for interviewees to tell you what they can do. Preferably not someone picking on reputation but form and not all his old mates from years gone by which will probably mean foreign. Lars Lagerbäck manages Iceland and they have a population of about the same as Edinburgh and they got out of a group about as tough as ours and are currently in 1st place. A Scandinavian might suit us well. Picking Fletcher when he's crap or guys like James Forrest or James Morrison is just dreadful.

Strachan is trying to say the Georgia performance the players tried as much as they could and put a great effort in. 5 shots and 0 on target for him is 'enough not to get beat' despite them being lucky it was only 1-0. If Poland beat us he has to walk away.

You should apply then as your such an expert in picking Scotland teams.

I think Fletcher is underrated - OK he isn't a prolific goalscorer, but he brings other players into the game and is the best we have in the lone striker role. Not his fault the midfield spent most of the match camped on the edge of our box.

Griffiths, Rhodes etc. are all penalty box players which are of little use to us because we so seldom get the ball in that area of the park.

Chris Martin is the only other who could play the lone striker role but he had a nightmare when he got the chance to shine in that role.

Basically we have lacked any high quality players for the best part of 20 years and we badly need a talisman.

Scott Brown had two howling games and has looked yards off the pace any time I have seen him this season - you can bet that he will be the first name on wee Gordie's team sheet when we play next.

Also wouldn't surprise me to see Morrison and utility man Mulgrew start ...

Browns been poor for Celtic this season. Think he's carrying an injury. I would rest him for a few games. Mulgrew isn't a left back - no surprise he played poorly there.

So why are less than fit players considered fit enough for international football

Brown is considered important for Celtic and Scotland. He will play regardless of his fitness. I think he needs a few games out of the side, but Delia won't rest him.

We need someone to score goals and Fletcher can't do it. Fletcher had a through ball and thought he was offside and kicked it out of play last night. If that was Griffiths or Naismith he's off towards goal. The wheels look to be coming off Strachan's tactics.

Draw with Poland at best and Poland and Ireland drawing last game is the most likely end outcome

Kris Boyd 18 caps 7 (SEVEN) goals

Leigh Griffiths 6 caps 0 (ZERO) goals

A bit like him, only Boyd could score. Griffiths can't even get a game ahead of a guy who can't get a game at Sunderland.

Losing to Germany and Poland away is certainly possible. We have an almost guaranteed 3 points vs Gibraltar so a draw against Poland would do us if Ireland got beat twice.

So many players in that squad that should have been nowhere near it.

We need to find some more English centre backs with Scottish grandparents. You can't be playing the world champions with Fletcher and Forrest though. They were like playing with 9 men.

Our media is now worse than the English media position used to be.

apparently we are in a great position in the group we only need to take 4 more points than Ireland as they are heading out in seems.

love how its assumed we will beat Poland and Ireland will lose to them
