I think it's the other way round. Our defence is poor most weeks. The problem is the attacking players don't know what to do against decent ( and no more than that) defenders.

What's damaging to Celtic is that they just have to do enough to win the league at home. They're not stretched at all. If you lose the ball against a shower of dummies like say, Partick Thistle or Ross County the players know 99.9% of the time they'll get it back. Not the case playing against good, technically astute foreign teams. Playing at a higher level in Europe is another dimension.

Scottish football has went completely backwards. The international team is an even bigger joke and in Europe the club teams may as well not turn up. Embarrassed by 7th in the Norwegian league in a game where Molde should have had 6 or 7.

Bad coaching, no talented youth coming through, reliance on bin raking for cheap foreigners who are crap or past it and looking for a last pay day and tactics stuck in the dark ages like Burchill's Livingston. A disgrace.

Not a fan on the loans system either in Scotland - clubs should be limited to SPFL based players, probably with one external player allowed.

Short term loans should also be allowed in between windows.
