What level could this Ryan Gauld play at? I really hope he doesn't have an English or Irish gran!

Well he plays for Dundee United so he is apparently automatically exempt from playing for Scotland.

Aside from that the world is his lobster.

I really hope Celtic are watching him as daft as that sounds but i don't want him lost to the lower English leagues. He needs a couple of years at United to develop, whether he gets that or not is another matter.

He will be out with celtics price range. Although I don't want him going to championship world either where he would be kicked to pieces

Sorry to hear about the deaths of the young players

i like Gauld but if Celtic signed him, would he be first choice in the team? Commons plays in his role, so he is first pick. I don't think we would spend £2m on him. Think Gauld is better of staying at Dundee Utd for another couple of years to get more first team experience.

Glad to get another win today, was quite a tough game, St Johnstone done well.

Also totally stunned to hear of the son of Hugh Dallas awarding a dodgy penalty to the home team at Ibrox. Who could have ever imagined it?

Kenny Shiels gave Morton fans an early Christmas present telling Naho Novo he was not needed and terminating his contract on Xmas eve.

Mark McLaughlin was also released, sad to see him go as he is a local lad but he was looking like this was one season too far. Cant fault his commitment though.

Barrie McKay signed on a months loan from the Rangers and Darren Cole signed until the end of the season.

What a present for Ratboy.

Still, means he can continue on the after dinner circuit.

After Celtic's 1-0 win in Inverness Neil Lennon joins Martin O'Neill and Willie Maley as the only Celtic managers to remain unbeaten at the turn of the year during a season.

Great crowd at Easter Road tonight, probably best for 20 years, treated to a fiine win over local rivals.

Hibs are now just 5 points behind DUFC, who are next opponents. Interesting times.

Is McCoist cracking up? 4 games in 11 days is exactly the same as Celtic and Celtic's fixtures included trips to Perth and Inverness in the space of 3 days which if my geography is correct further away from any of the teams they played.

John gemmell, Stenhousemuir striker, had a go at McCoist on twitter about his rant and was then accused of being a celtic fan despite having a season ticket at ibrox.

He will probably get punished by the authorities for it despite saying what everyone else was thinking

He shouldn't do but you're probably right.

I wonder what Danny Lennon will say about Danny lennon's side not getting a shot on target.

Funniest sight this year the 5ftish Adam Campbell of St Mirren holding onto the shirt of the 6ft+ Celtic's Van Duik. Such a comedy moment even the ref couldn't bring himself to book him.
