Queens Park will need to be compensated appropriately.

It'll cost tens of millions.

Scottish football cant afford that.

They need to think of something though. Our national stadium is a complete laughing stock. It's ridiculous how bad it is(pitch and general stadium)

It was a brand new pitch for Hibs v Ross County last month.
Shocking”

I'd just leave the pitch as it is even though it is poor. I doubt it will bed in properly and if it cuts up on the Saturday the pitch on Sunday is going to be a nightmare.

A hybrid pitch like the one at Croke Park would be the best option.

Personally I'd like to see Hampden completely rebuilt with stands much closer to the pitch. Get rid of Lesser Hampden and it would also give the option of the pitch being taken out of the stadium to get sunlight like what happens in Gelsenkirchen.

I personally think they should just knock it down and sell the land. Play home games at ibrox/parkhead for major games and travel to Aberdeen/Edinburgh/Perth for friendlies.

Had to chuckle at Hibs tonight...

By moaning how hard done by Rangers were. Whilst completely forgetting that they didn't pay their debts, and overspent to end up where they were. He's just a bitter man wanting to spur the hard done mentality to get them to beat Celtic.

Instead of moving on, Smith just wants to stir up all the same crap again.

He admitted they weren't the same team so his complaints make no sense unless he is talking about Cove Rangers being hard done by.

Walter Smith 2012 "We wish the new Rangers football club every good fortune".

Does he have alzheimers or something now? less than 4 years ago he was celebrating the birth of a new club, a tribute act if you will replacing the Liquidated Rangers. Now he's saying Rangers who don't exist shouldn't have been demoted, when nobody was demoted. The new club as he called them were let into the 4th tier as new members when they bought the assets of the Dead club.

That highly successful businessman Dermot Desmond said that Rangers are "a fantastic club with a great history" who would soon make their return to the top flight of Scottish football - and he was right!

Must be some sort of bigotfest on this weekend?? The usual suspects have crawled out from their caves with their one-upmanship jibes towards each other.
Dear, oh dear.
You'd really never know it was the year 2016 in Scotland.

It's pathetic. You used to be able to come on here and discuss Scottish football. It is now just Rangers fans and Celtic fans having constant digs at each other.

I'll take it that is aimed at me.

I've not posted on here for months after I had a death in the family that impacted on me really badly. After being signed off my work and being at the bottom of a bottle for about a month I went to stay with some relatives for a while to help me with things.

Amazingly enough, posting on DigitalSpy was rather far down my to do list.

Desmond also said Celtic would play in the English Premiership - that was 10 years ago. I take what he says with a pinch of salt.

You asked what did Walter Smith say. I responded with what he said.

Cheers, I'm doing a lot better now.

Spirits probably wasn't the best phrase to use though. . I was single handedly doing my best to keep Jack Daniels afloat in Scotland for a while.

Sorry to hear that. I'm sure a good win on Sunday will help, although I hope not. Sorry

Cheers lads, means a lot.

Lets just say that on a thread like this and on a game like the one on Sunday that things have been put into perspective for me.

Certainly wasn't aimed at you, apologies if you think it was.
I was just making my usual, sweeping, anti-Old Firm statement.
