If Hibs fans thought the Referee was bad last night, wait till they play Sevco. 4 of the 6 Officials Steven McLean(Referee), Andrew McWilliam(Linesman), Andrew Dallas(Assistant Linesman) and Bobby Madden(4th Official) are Sevco supporters!

Dundee Utd deducted 3 points and fined £30k for fielding an ineligible player against Inverness.

Stephen Thompson has resigned from the SPFL board in protest at the severity of the punishment. Real toys out the pram stuff. Not to mention he would have had to step down anyway because of relegation.

Someone from Dundee Utd boobed with the team selection.

Yep.

But the statement they came out is something Sevco would be proud of.

Chairman Stephen Thompson has resigned from his position on the SPFL board with immediate effect.

He has expressed his shock and anger at the severity of the sanction imposed by the SPFL in relation to a rule breach in our recent Ladbrokes Premiership fixture versus Inverness Caley Thistle.

Whilst acknowledging the Club’s error and accepting a breach of rules occurred, the Chairman feels the gravity of the punishment is wholly disproportionate for what was a simple honest, human error.

We await the full written judgment after which we will consider our next action.

Our travelling fans are the ones who have been punished the most here and the Club will examine ways to make this up to them.

Inverness ought really to have been given the 3 points instead.

At some point I did think 'this can't keep happening to them' and yet it does. Part of me hopes they win the cup, hey it'd be funny too.

Barton is a average journeyman footballer. Nothing else. Rangers would be stupid to sign him.

You obviously haven't watched him this season.

I don't need to. He's 33 and is winding down his career. If Rangers want to sign a has been, go ahead.

How can Rangers afford his wages? He must be on over £30k.

He was instrumental in Burnley winning a league miles better than anything we have up here and was in the football manager's team of the year and top 4 in the manager's player of the championship. Being 33 means nothing these days, Miller done your mob like a kipper and he's 36.

He'd be an interesting signing if it went through.

Scott Brown's what, 30-31? and looks easily 3 yards off the pace.

He would be as he hasn't been fit for months.

Celtic have about 20 midfielders!

Also, how can Rangers afford his wages? Not long ago the tims were asking "where's Dave King's money he said he was going to spend?" You'll soon see it.

So you want Rangers to overspend on players which got them into trouble last time? You never learn do you.

You ask where the money is and then complain when the money is spent, can't win with logic like that.
