No it's not, it's a pitch invasion with some minor scuffles and some Hibs fans behaving stupidly.

In 1980 you had Rangers and Celtic fans smacking each other about and throwing glass bottles at each other all over the pitch.

As for the match, it's hard not to feel that Rangers threw it away; they were 2-1 up and in control midway through the second half but lost it because of their inability to mark properly at corners.

Up until the end, though, that match was a wonderful advert for Scottish football.

Stubbs says he doesn't condone it, but he can understand it. Tell us, Alan, because I don't. We could have been looking at a 1980's rerun.

Poor show from Hibs' fans at the end. No need for that nonsense

Yes exactly we have about 20000 fans on the field which is a major public disorder

I don't find anything wrong with a pitch invasion at the end of the season - happens all the time in England - problem is when the muppets stop celebrating and start looking for trouble.

Hibs fans moronic for their invasion/goading made worse by equally moronic Ranges fans thinking joining in would improve matters. That's put Scottish football fans' reputations back about 30 years sadly.

Hibs fans were preparing for the invasion about 5 minutes before the end - questions should be asked about the lack of stewarding/policing at full time.

That's usually what happens when one end of the ground invades & heads towards the other to goad them.
If Rangers or Celtic fans had done that, the outrage would have been palpable, Hibs fans have a bad element amongst them, seen it in The Championship the past couple of years.
*rolleyes*

I thought Rangers over played far too much. Even at the end when they needlessly gave the ball away for Hibs to go up and get the corner for the goal.

I'm surprised they don't have those barriers with elastic strips at Hampden that grounds like Wembley do to stop fans invading the pitch.

The police are now ringing the Hampden pitch to prevent another Hibs invasion when they lift the Cup.

Not only do Hibs qualify for Europe, that result means they join Celtic, Aberdeen and Hearts in the knockout rounds of the revamped League Cup.

All four teams will not take part in the groups stages in July.
