Right now my boyfriend is limping about the living room after working at today's game and trying to stop fans fighting. 2 female stewards at least needed first aid after being set upon by fans.
I was at the game and while I was disappointed at the result I was more let down by the scenes at the end. I know many of the stewards there and lots of them were hurt. I could understand them running on the pitch and celebrating then returning so the trophy presentation and medals could be given out. There was no need for the fighting from both fans. Looking at the pictures from the invasion there were children on the pitch too. |

I think you take the level of shite you post on here to new levels with this one ... well done ya absolute muppet.
![]() Hibs deserved to win but their fans let them down by invading the pitch. No doubt Rangers poor performance will be forgotten due to the pitch invading. Wonder if Frankie still thinks Rangers will win the league next year?

I love pitch invasions, especially when said pitch invasions are against fans who were spouting sectarian songs just 20 minutes earlier trying to get it up the fans who were then partying in their faces.

Don't know about that statement from Sevco either praising their fans, their fans were on kicking and punching anything in sight too, was the statement from Dave King? he must have had is bad eye on the Hibs end and his worse one on the Sevco end.

Rangers never turned up but the SFA have to hammer Hibs for that invasion and assaulting the Rangers players. More than a few Hibs fans will be getting a 6am wake up call soon.

A hefty fine, a European ban and some closed-door games next season for starters. |

I think the SFA really must come down really hard on Hibs or other fans will do the same.
A hefty fine, a European ban and some closed-door games next season for starters. It's as much the SFA's fault as it is Hibs', if not moreso. It was a game played at the SFA's stadium (sort of) with the SFA's stewards, policing...everything. |

Rangers will be going for the league and don't have to start the season early for diddy european games. Hibs are going to get destroyed for those scenes.

Couldn't give a toss whether they were wearing blue or green.......anyone on that pitch other than players or officials were/are, and will no doubt continue to be f*ckwits.

Well European countries aren't going to come to them. You need to start earlier and travel long distances for a competition that is unappealing. Cups next season are a headache, it is about the league only.
By failing to win today, you've put yourselves into the group stage of the League Cup, which begins on 16th July and brings with it four games before the start of the league season. At least in Europe you could field a weak enough team to drop out after two games, 16 days before the league starts. Your final League Cup group stage game will be 7. |

If they don't hammer Hibs then the SFA are saying next year's cup final is a free for all pitch invasion. The worst scenes since the early 80s and assaulting players you can be sure they are getting done for it.

Police says two sets of fans were fighting - so if one gets punished the other should too.
