Have you viewed all the footage? Some Rangers fans attacked fans as well so get of your high moral ground.
If I seen Arsenal players getting attacked, I would react and batter them too. Why should the Rangers fans just sit back and watch the Rangers players get assaulted?

All the wost videos i've seen were Huns causing the worst bother, one of them punching a horse, about 8 of them kicking a Hibs fan whos on the floor and the worst of all posted above 2 grown men trying to abduct what looks like an 8 year old Hibs fan - absolutley shocking.

11 arrests have been made for minor offences so far.

One side note - I'm amazed there isn't more footage of the brutal assaults on the Rangers players.

2 wrongs don't make a right. And they weren't going to protect their players - they went looking for a fight.

If there were brutal assaults the players would be making statements to the police. We don't know yet if they have.

Will post properly on this when I've had time to recover and have viewed it all back properly. There are scum in every support, Hibs included but there are several images and videos circulating of 'The Rangers' fans attacking celebrating Hibs fans.

Also pot kettle black, remember the time those beautiful Rangers fans brought peace and harmony to a city in England when playing a UEFA Cup final. Nah didn't think so. For any blue spec wearers I'll happily post a few links of the week you brought shame on the whole of football with your disgusting antics.

Now as a fan of a club who doesn't have much success I'm away to appreciate and enjoy the open top bus parade.
Ah I knew it would all be big bad rangers fault before the weekend was out ...

Your fans stormed the pitch ... FACT
Your fans dug up parts of said pitch ... FACT
Your fans broke the goal posts ... FACT
Your fans assaulted several Rangers playing staff ... FACT
Your fans provoked the Rangers support (if some of them got a sore face for that bravado then fair do's) ... FACT

Rangers staff feared for their safety and had to be handed their RU medal in the dressing room because your fans were still on the pitch ... FACT.

This is all because you won a game of football - pure drunken nedish behaviour that not even you can try and justify. A line has been crossed and your horrible little club will have to pay the consequencies ... FACT.

You want to lay the blame for this on Rangers ...

You are simply not right in the head - you seriously have issues that you need to deal with.

You realise that you are trying to bargain with obsessed Celtic fans here?? They only see what they want to see - seek out the youtube video of them visiting your place not that long ago where they abused the members of the British armed forces who were on the pitch ... this is the level you are dealing with here.

You are the absolute reason why Celtic should never ever be allowed to play in England.
Full of bigotry and hate. No thanks to that.

If you want to go down the road of petty point scoring, I could name heaps of violence inflicted by Rangers fans over the years. I've experienced it myself when our coach got windows smashed by a Rangers fan a few years ago. Never mind, your supporters are complete free of that kind of thing aren't they.

I always laugh how you always take the high moral ground regarding Celtic. Face it, both clubs have nuggets in their support.

Why is a The Rangers fan trying to abduct a child at the beginning of this video?
He isn't ffs. They were taking the lad off to the side out of danger.

Complete nonsense. Doesn't help that Rangers fans sing anti Catholic, anti Irish songs? Then you wonder why Hibs fans may not like Rangers.
2012 exposed just how shocking the utter hatred there is for Rangers. I knew we were never popular, but the outpour of sheer hatred was and is actually quite shocking. I have several non Scottish friends, most from England, who themselves made the same point.

Hibs fans ran on the pitch, snapped goalposts, ripped up the turf. Hibs fans attacked players and staff. Hibs fans tried to get into the Rangers family and disabled sections.

I know, I was there.. In the Rangers disabled section with my (walking stick needing) 72 yr old father. Horrendous and the only time in 30+ yrs of being a fan, that I feared for my and my father's safety. At one point, I seriously thought of locking my father safe in one of the toilets. Hibs fans got that close.

Rangers fans are no angels, but yesterday cannot be pinned on us.

If victorious Rangers fans had rampaged yesterday, I would have no issue with such punishment.

I am no fan of your club but 100% agree here .

They should have the book thrown at them.

As I said early the Edinburgh evening news comments is a disgrace everyone to blame apart from themselves

The only "talk" is a petition being started by Rangers fans.

They'll get humped in the qualifying rounds anyway.

Aberdeen have the best chance but I expect them to fall at the last qualifying round. I hope all the teams get through but it's going to be tough for them.
