Quite a few Celtic fans on here have blamed Hibs, or have you missed that?

DR now claiming every Rangers player on that pitch at FT was attacked or spat on - which is strange because Kenny Millers wife said he wasn't attacked.

Of the four Cup Finals I watched on tv this year (Irish, Scottish, English, Spanish), the Scottish Cup Final was by far the best. Rangers and Hibs put on a cracking match which Hibs deserved to win. The Hibs fans did tarnish the ending though.
I also can't believe The Proclaimers missed the game! |

Rangers have truly lost it with their latest statement - moaning at everyone from Stuart Cosgrove to the First minister.

Today I've seen yesterday's events compared to the Holocaust, Kristallnicht, the Battle of the Somme and Hillsborough.
![]() ![]() They were scenes which should not have occurred but some fans of The Rangers have lost their grip on reality. Says the fans of a club that hired an independent consultant to investigate 'anti-Celtic bias' by referees and the SFA in 1999. A club that is famous for paranoia. A club whose fans three times have made a book by writer Tom Campbell a best seller, in which he claims a long history of anti-Celtic bias ('All in The Mind?'). |

That statement though....
What a fantastic weekend, the celebrations are far from over! Take our European place from us, we still have the memories! Now I'll be the first to admit that not every Hibs fan that entered the pitch was just celebrating, unfortunately there are moronic elements of support in every club. But I'd say a strong 90/95% of fans invaded the Hampden pitch were just caught up in the sheer euphoria of it all. I was there, I jumped at the winning goal and then I just froze, I was shaking, the sudden realisation that after 114 years we were seconds away. To also win it after Rangers to coin a phrase 'Hibsed it' was very apt! Fans a lot older than me hadn't witnessed this, there was a Hibs fan over 100 years old who hadn't seen it for god sake. This is how euphoric it was, Rangers fans and fans of clubs who demand and expect success every season will really have no idea what it's like to win a trophy and appreciate its worth and its value after so many years without one. We may never win it again in our lifetime. This is another reason why I told my Rangers supporting friends who have mocked me since winning the league that I'd rather win the cup. You can have your lower league trophy because in 50 years I can say 'I was there' in 50 years I'm not going to have fond memories of winning promotion from a lower league. Let's face it if Hibs got promoted realistically we'd aim for top 6 at most. Trophies and medals is what it's all about. Over 100,000 fans were out today lining the streets of Leith. The last time Rangers could say that they destroyed a city. So in short form some, a very very small percentage of Hibs fans were out of order but these allegations and statements coming from Rangers really don't give it much credibility. I've a feeling this will drag on for months and I bet the SFA are delighted we won't have a fixture next season. Hibs will be punished and whatever that is we will take but Rangers should remember about the smoke bombs, the flares, the billy boys chants! The small minority of moronic support that were in the Rangers end, the small minority of them who invaded the pitch to 'defend their players'. Scum in every support. They need named and shamed and then banned but get off your high horse please. It's very embarrassing to read. |

Wow, Celtic fans are in a time warp supporting all that went on yesterday.
But I guess it's expected for what they have stood for over the years. |

The Rangers statement may have been taken a bit more seriously had they not insisted on claiming their own fans were completely blameless and tried to excuse it whilst criticising the opposition.

This is the second time in a year there has been a pitch invasion and fans trying to goad and threaten Rangers fans. The usual delusional whataboutery like 'ah but what about bad songs!' or 'Manchester 8 years ago' always abound. The authorities swept it under the carpet last time, they will try this time too.
The medals being handed to Hardie to be given out in the dressing room is a joke. Something better be done about it. |

A few Hibs fans are crapping themselves on twitter after being found out. One of them a supposed SFA intern.

Only problem is the footage is out there that shows something very different. Anyone who was on the pitch to fight should get a chap at the door. |

The Hibs fans run on the park, assault opposition players, staff, rip the turf up, snap the goal posts and it is Rangers fans fault?!

There are now people claiming the Green Brigade were at the game and it was them who ran onto the pitch first.

The fact is that a substantial amount of Hibs fans caused trouble, over and above the arguments about pitch invasions and damage to the pitch/goalposts. Our players were attacked en masse, some needing treatment. When we rightly complain, all we get is a history lesson and told to man up. We cannot win. p.s that aside, I congratulate Hibs on winning, the better team BY FAR won. Rangers were poor tbh, but take nothing away from Hibs, who were superb. |

Daily Ranger trying to say all Rangers players were assaulted yet Kenny Millers wife has said he wasn't in any way assaulted.
Lee Wallace claims he has a black eye, where is the evidence of all this? |

Sadly there are Rangers fans on here taking the high moral ground over fan behaviour, forgetting all their past misadventures. The Hibs fans that went looking for trouble were out of order and should get punished. The Rangers fans that attacked Hibs fans should also be punished.

Can't fine one and not the other. Idiots in both sets of fans.
NC-Rangers when they were in there other guise were notorious pitch invaders. I remember When the old club won the league at Aberdeen in 1987. Absolute carnage similar to the weekends events. I think that was the first league win in ten years or so. |

Lee Wallace claims he has a black eye, where is the evidence of all this? Not directed at you, but this weekend proves my earlier point: our players get attacked and all we have got back is drivel that its all fiction, and a cover for a (well deserved) defeat. The lengths some people will go to to blame Rangers is ludicrous and frankly disgusting. Some of the lesser human beings of our beloved nation are even celebrating the attacks. |

I think that was the first league win in ten years or so. Pitch invasion, the last by us btw, BUT no attacks on anyone Aberdeen, fans or players/staff, no damage to the pitch and stadium. So your claim of carnage is nothing but a lie. You are outright lying son. I wont even try to be polite. |
