Your fellow The Rangers fan ayrshireman1 thought it was relevant otherwise he wouldn't have responded to Jamie about it.
Just a pity that ayrshireman1 chose to lie about what happened. |

Rodgers sounds genuinely pleased to be Celtic manager. Good that he could have stayed on in England for more money, but chose Celtic because he wants to manage the club. Think he will be a great manager.

£40k a week? Might stick a tenner on him being sent off in first Celtic vs Rangers game of next season.

You having problems keeping up Frankie?
ayshireman1 claimed that he was at Pittodrie in 1987 and that there was no damage done to the ground. He even called Jamie a liar. Turns out that it was ayshireman1 that was lying about it. Lets see if he is man enough to apologise to Jamie. I am happy to admit I don't remember the goalposts coming down, but clearly they did. And I had no real problem with it on Saturday, Scots fans are famous for it. I don't even have a problem with spilling on the pitch, its what happened after that. But in 1987, the Rangers fans did not attack Dons players, staff, fans, did not try and attack disabled and elderly Dons fans, attack journalists and photographers (several were attacked by Hibs fans on Saturday and items stolen). So my point stands. And I will not be apologising to Jamie, as he used nonsense language like carnage. In fact I wouldn't be at all surprised if I am the only person here who went to the game, and frankly one of the few old enough to remember it. If Jamie had been there, he would know words like carnage are OTT nonsense. So in that regard, yes he lied. 1980 was carnage. Heysel was carnage. 1987 was not. And tbh neither overall was Saturday, bad as some if it got. 1987 was overexcited fans, not some Engerland style rampaging mob. It WAS overexcited fans that day. And had that been the same on Saturday, then that's fine. Just as it was at Killie the following day. BUT Saturday went well beyond that. So I am happy to admit my error, but its an error that doesn't negate my point. OR that he is making OTT and incorrect claims about the fans that day. Rangers fans did not attack anyone connected with Aberdeen, nor bar one goalpost, did we cause trouble or damage to the stadium or anywhere in the city. So whilst I am happy to admit my error, but given his inflammatory use of words like carnage to describe something I know was nothing of the sort, and to accuse Rangers fans that day of acts they didn't commit, no, I wont be apologising to him, as I feel I do not have any reason to. IMO he did lie about that day. |

Your mob were put to the sword by a 36 year old and loan players and reserves.
I expect us to go on to steamroll you next season. Joey Barton at 34 only diddy teams would be interested in that, he was average at his peak about a decade ago. |

We were pish that day and yet should still have won fairly easily, we missed about 5 chances and Sevco didnt even have any chances that I remember. We had something like 25 shots to your 6.

Brenda Rodgers the Liverpool failure had nothing to do with it.
Thought you'd have came up with some better than that Frankie. "Liverpool failure". ![]() ![]() Closest theey've been to winning the English leagues in how long?If Rodgers is a "Liverpool failure" I guess that must make Warburton a "Brentford failure". |

Rangers are back and we just signed one of the top players in a league much better than your mickey mouse titles. The Scottish cup only matters to diddy teams who have no chance of winning the league. Suzrez carried Brenda on his back.

Brenda is what he has been known as for a long time. Suarez almost won the league on his own, when he left where did Liverpool finish? 10th when he got sacked? What manager leaves the Premiership to come to the Scottish league and then say it isn't a step down? Warburton over achieved at a team who were odds on to go down, Brenda got sacked for being shite.
Warburton would need to send a CV in to get the Britsol City job. Young Champions League Manager V League 2 level old numpty. |

When Walter Smith returned to the SPL was this a step down from managing in England with Everton? |
