Barton is a journeyman who looked ok for a season or two in the last 10. Totally irrelevant player.

Not like all those top stars who won the Premiership this year, oh wait, they didn't and a team full of journeymen at Leicester won the league. Do people here even watch football?

That's right lets make a comparison between the team that won the EPL and a player who wasn't deemed good enough by any EPL side so ended up at Burnley. Just remind me of all those 33 year olds Leicester had in there side?

Makes a whole heap of sense.

I await the day when Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs all go out and compete for journeymen. What have they been missing when the likes of Joey Barton are out there just waiting to lead them to title glory.

One of their best players was 32 year old Wes Morgan, why this idiotic fixation on age? Liverpool were nowhere near Leicester all season and combined all the rest spent hundreds of millions and finished nowhere near them. You spend £16 million on Balotelli or the rest spend shed loads on crap like Depay and a £250k player and non-league striker embarrass you.

You've already admitted you haven't even watched Barton, yet go on about his discipline when he has had 1 red card in 2 seasons.

Broonie couldn't even kick a penalty in, he's finished. Nice assist for King Kenny's goal though

Cove don't have a ground at the moment so you'd be going to either Huntly, Inverurie or Pitmedden to play them.

Going to Brora for the Alloa cup game was a nice trip but it took ages to get there and back.

So the best you could come up with was one player. Well done. Glad to see we have established that Leicester wasn't a side full of 11 Joey Barton's.

It was a team full of 'journeymen' not 33 year olds.

So not being a top star makes one a journeyman? Since when.

Athletico Madrid full of journeyman as well then?

So the every player was attacked claim has now been downgraded to "in excess of 6".

I wonder what it'll end up as?

There were loads of cameras so there will be loads of footage.

Shame the The Rangers support stopped Police Scotland getting into the stadium quicker through their disgusting behaviour outside Hampden otherwise it could have been handled much quicker.

Over half the team attacked and that's ok to you because it wasn't them all? Police Scotland talking crap as usual. Hillborough tells you all you need to know about the police and blame.

Do you even know what a journeyman is? Is a £24 million pound player at Madrid a journeyman? You don't know what you are talking about.

Oh dear, Frankie has taken a bad one off a diving board a bit like Greg Louganis in the 88 Olympics.

I never said attacking any player was acceptable, I'm commenting on the fact that the numbers appear to be changing, initially it was all of them and now that has been changed to "in excess of 6". You'd think that the person making the claim would know exactly how many were 'attacked' but that appears not to be the case.

Blaming the police, it's all a bit like Manchester isn't it? All the fault of the police until the CCTV was released.

Not only is it a terrible idea - I think it's a cheek that Dundee want to use Celtic to boost it's own profile.

Why not take Dundee vs Ross County to the states.

There can be no guarantees of how anyone will perform when they move move to a different team but Barton was league-winning Burnley's player of the year and in the team of the year for England's Championship which certainly stands comparison with the Scottish Premiership.
