There can be no guarantees of how anyone will perform when they move move to a different team but Barton was league-winning Burnley's player of the year and in the team of the year for England's Championship which certainly stands comparison with the Scottish Premiership.

The English championship is miles ahead of the Scottish Premiership. Ask Neil Lennon.
The Championship in England isn't a great league although I understand you have to take that stance to make signing the IRA sympathising Royal family hater seem like a coup, |

Beram Kayal couldn't get a game for Celtic but he played in 43 of Brighton's 46 league games this season.

He played 132 games for Celtic even though you have 132 midfielders.
A midfielder who was no longer good enough for what you claimed was a terrible Celtic side yet is an almost ever present for Brighton. Quote:
As before nobody cares about your IRA agenda, like your treble ambitions they surrendered with a whimper.

So the every player was attacked claim has now been downgraded to "in excess of 6".
I wonder what it'll end up as? There were loads of cameras so there will be loads of footage. Shame the The Rangers support stopped Police Scotland getting into the stadium quicker through their disgusting behaviour outside Hampden otherwise it could have been handled much quicker. |

Whilst a tiny percentage of the Hibs fans who went on the pitch went on with the intent to cause trouble every The Rangers fan who went on the pitch went on with the intention of being involved in trouble.
There was simply no reason for a The Rangers fan to be on the pitch on Saturday. This "defending the players" line is bollocks as is all the "protecting the fans". I'm struggling to see how a sickening The Rangers thug kicking a young Hibs fan in the head when they were about 40 yards from the stands is defending someone in the stands. And any decent fan agrees our club should deal/ban any of the small amount of fans who counter-invaded. No dispute there. |

Disgusting that the wee ned Greg Binnie was allowed to simper and use his crying mum as an excuse just hours before admitting to his charges in court.
Shame on STV. |

Many more than 20 and thousands who support them.
I see a Police Scotland source is saying the reason that it took the police so long to regain control inside the stadium was due to behaviour of the The Rangers support outside the stadium. Do you see attacked vans here?. Do you see siren vans desperately trying to break through a mob of Rangers fans?. https://twitter.com/Lindz810/status/735720471040163841 |

How many games did he play in the season he left?

rangers have always said 6 not 11 were attacked, the claim of 11 was made in a newspaper

We have been through this. It was NOT a tiny %. Some of us can tell you that personally. Hibs fans caused Saturday, not us. By all means bash us when we start it.

He was captain of Celtic and played 132 games, he was hardly some unknown player. Kayal didn't even help them get up.

The claim was made by the PR company the club you support employ.
It was a tiny percentage, of the thousands of Hibs fans who were so overjoyed at the end of the game they went on the pitch only a tiny percentage were involved in what happened. The vast majority of them were absolutely nowhere near your support. So it simply isn't possible that the attacks happened elsewhere? Like I said earlier, this is all a bit like Manchester where your support cried about how hard done you were by the police until the CCTV came out and they held a Crimewatch special for you. He was not longer good enough to player for Celtic so moved to the English Championship. No longer good enough to play for Celtic yet starred for a Brighton side that Barton and Burnley were unable to beat. The Championship is full of bang average players. As for believing Police Scotland don't tell the groin brigade that or you'll be off the bus. |

1----It was hundreds. To me and most people, that's not tiny. 2--This story only suddenly appeared after open criticism of the police. How strange, huh?. You, as a Celtic fan, should know (city centre protests by your fans vs the football laws) how the police can distort the truth. This is nothing but an outright lie to cover their backsides. That clip is right outside the stadium, on Cathcart Road, where Rangers fans or any fans based in the 'Rangers end' have to walk down from the supporters buses to get to the Rangers end. I was on Cathcart Rd, before and after the match. So again, I can confirm to you personally that I saw NOTHING of the crap the police are trying to suggest. Had I done so, I would state here in public that I did. Now, granted, as I said, I was in the stadium when most of this alleged violence was happening outside, BUT we left as quickly as we could after the scare with the disabled section being attacked, and the journey back to the car was chalk and cheese: there was no rampaging Rangers fans on Cathcart Rd or Cumming Drive. I was parked in Cumming Drive, which in the clip, is the street just out of shot on the right. As I have a disabled badge for my father. Only local residents and disabled badged cars are allowed there on matchdays. |

Celtic wouldn't even get in the promotion places in the championship never mind win it. Barton is a very good midfielder and no amount of pish about Kayal or the IRA changes that.
Kayal was allowed to leave Celtic because he wasn't good enough to play for us any longer. Burnley had 41% possession that day, Barton was bossed by Kayal. Says it all really. |

Do you even know what a journeyman is? Is a £24 million pound player at Madrid a journeyman? You don't know what you are talking about.
Mahrez 24, signed for £400k. What a tremendous journeyman.

There are fans of your team admitting it happened.
If you wish to believe the nonsense that masses of Rangers fans just happened oh so conveniently stopped police dealing with the trouble on Saturday, and that really it was us nasty Huns that are to blame for all that transpired on Saturday, then I cannot stop you. I have given you genuine personal eyewitness testimony. I have supplied a video clip which shows the claims to be nonsense. But, listen, I get it. Where we are concerned, you have made up your mind and nothing will shift you. |

So the fans that say they were witnesses are wrong and I'm to believe you are right?
Do you remember your claims the other night? As to my credibility, give me your address and I will send you my Cup Final ticket. Seriously. I gave you a long-winded honest summation of events and places. Your proof is a pic on tinypic. Well, f*ck me, I am convinced. |
