End of season friendlies are the worst. Players want to be on the beach and there is just no intensity in these games. In season friendlies are bad enough but these are way worse.

So Stubbs quits Hibs for Rotherham. The fact he sees Rotherham as a step up says a lot about the state of the game up here.

English championship I'd say is a step up from the Scottish equivalent.

Of course it is.

Who next for Hibs? Mixu, Yogi, Lennon or Collins?

Cant see Yogi or Collins going back. Hibs fans wouldn't want Lennon. Wright of St Johnstone would be a good choice.

Would Wright be willing to take the step down though?

But last week you were all saying Brendan Rodgers hadn't taken a step down coming up here. Same was said about Barton. Can't have it both ways. Just stirring really. My own opinion is the English Championship is a step up from most Scottish clubs with the exception of The Old Firm

There have been rumours about Jozo wanting to leave so if Gomez comes in it would point to them being true.

That would be a good loan deal. He was very impressive when he played. He played @ LB and even though was right footed and more of a CB he did very well.

Celtic 11/4 to sign Zlatan.

If that happens I'll streak down Sauchiehall Street next time I'm in Glasgow.

I'd rather we avoided the loan market.

I'll give you 100/1 on him going to Celtic.

He played against us in a friendly tournament once, after scoring a couple of early goals Russell Anderson went right through him and he walked off in a huff telling all our players they were shite as he walked past them.

Story is here - http://sabotagetimes.com/football/ch...played-against

I'll take a fiver at those odds. Will cover the fine I'll get.

You can actually believe he is the kind of player who would say that to opposition players.

Anyone who seriously thinks Zlatan is coming to Celtic has been out in the sun too long.

15-20 yrs ago, maybe. Not now. Not a hope in hell.

Andy Burton from SSN says Zlatan is signing for Man Utd on one year deal, so next season he'll be free.

No, it was the season before that. We beat them 5-0.

Celtic youth teams finally look to be doing really well, development squad won the League unbeaten, U17s won the League although I think both of them have been winning their Leagues for a long time now probably years and years since they last never. U14s beat Sevco 7-1 today, U13s won that European tournament the other week and the U10s won a European tournament today.

Hopefully Henderson, Nesbitt, Aitchison can get into the team like Tierney.

The player Dembele from the U13s looks sensational, young number 10.

Whilst it is great to see the youth teams doing well we really need to do more to bring them through into the first team otherwise it really all counts for nothing.
