Perversely the state of Scottish football right now is pleasing, number of Premiership clubs are in a better state than that of two years ago, those who refuse to balance the books are being left behind.

You must surely be worried about not qualifying for next season's Champions League group stage??

Not particularly no, there was all this scaremongering last season and didn't pay any attention to that either.

Only Griffiths purchased?

I must have imagined Stefan Johansen coming in on a £2m transfer fee.

A new signing, that will put bums on the top tier, I'll bet ?

Just wait until that £8m value for money signing.

Aberdeen given over half of Celtic Park for the League Cup final
Mark.

It'll be good to see it almost full for a domestic game this season.

Another great result for The Sons today, brilliant 2nd half fightback to defeat Falkirk.
Play-Offs here we come.

Seaside leagues here we come

Always going to be a tough ask for Kenny to come in and turn it around and after Saturday I would say we are doomed

Fraser Forster equals Bobby Clark's Scottish league clean sheet record and is 31 minutes away from beating the time without conceding record.

Might be a stupid and obvious question, but do you think you waited too long to sack Allan Moore? As an outsider part of me thought that winning the Celtic cup game whilst good for the finances, gave him a stay of execution which was bad for the longer term.

Looking at your squad you have a good few players in there who are good enough for that league and they are struggling against part timers. I hope Morton stay up as that division will be really competitive next season with Hearts going down and maybe even another Premiership team and Rangers and maybe Dunfermline going up.

I think you could put Bobby Clark in goals just now at Celtic and he would still keep a clean sheet. These records being broken by Celtic and Rangers don't mean an awful lot. It seems a bit of a distraction to the fact that the football is poor.

Waited far too long to sack Moore, the Celtic game and what happened in his personal life gave him a stay of execution after a poor start to the season, we lost 5-1 at Cowdenbeath in October and he should have gone then but it took another month and another 5-1 defeat this time to Livingston.

Kenny has come in and got rid of the majority of signings from the summer and brought in experienced players, we are unbeaten in the last five but only one of them was a win. We are harder to beat but don't look like winning a game

Congratulations to FAC and The Irish Brigade for getting to number 33 in the UK charts and number 7 in the Scottish charts this week.

Cowdenbeath are on a good run just now under Jimmy Nicholl. Morton need a confidence boosting win (or three) Its worth noting that Alloa & Raith are tumbling down the Championship though Caltonfan. You never know...

Celtic should be ashamed.
Glad i'm well out of it all.
But then, i suppose if al qaeda released a single, there would be those in the uk that would buy it.

At least it made the news, perhaps the exposure will shame those involved, probably not though.

There's nothing quite like the Celtic fans singing about being proud Irishmen in strong Glasgow accents.

The whole things nonsense of course, apart from Henning Wehn's comedy routine about how the Rangers fans really wanted Sands to get better because they offered him chicken supper & a can of coke.

In other news, Robert Gerard Sands MP has been dead for 33 years.

The Scottish independence issue in terms of effect on fitba interests me, because we would have independence but whatever (admittedly tiny) chance of Celtic joining the English league, and as such being one of the biggest clubs in the world in money terms, well that chance would be gone forever. You'd be in with the diddy teams for life.

Celtic have nothing to do with the song being released. The Irish Brigade released it. It just highlights the hypocrisy of the song being allowed to be in the charts, yet people get charged for singing it at matches.

Exactly.

Unfortunately it would appear that some people aren't intelligent enough to understand that.

You don't think the bunch of kids in the Green Brigade being obsessed by events which happened in another country before they were born is a little depressing?

I mean I'm sure they'll grow out of it.

It shouldn't actually make any difference as UEFA & FIFA already treat Scotland as an independent country.

One question that was raised on Sky Sports was about the rights of footballers if Scotland split form the UK and didn't get in to the EU. Could restrict transfers for Scottish footballers.
