I don't see him doing well there.

Getting up for the Championship is going to be a tough task with Dundee United, St Mirren and Falkirk being there.

It won't take much for the Hibs support to turn on him.
Is the Championship going to be more competitive than the Premiership yet again?

After the Scottish Cup win the Hibs fans expectations are going to be high. I think this is a proper test for Lennon.

Leicester City tickets available from £20, decent price that.

Should get a good crowd for that game with those prices.

I see Durrant has been punted by The Rangers.

Surprised they never did it sooner.

Kazim-Richards is no longer a Celtic player.

What a waste of a wage he was.

No surprise. Luckily he was a free transfer.

I just hope we didn't give him a pay off.

Stokes is the only one I'd have kept.

Hopefully it means that Rodgers is in charge of signings and has already told Lawwell who he wants.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-36498081

'Hate crimes' increased by 50% inside Scottish football grounds last year.

The club with the highest percentage of charges are The Rangers and the group most likely to be on the receiving end of the abuse is people of the Catholic faith.

Interestingly, in 41% of cases the police have been the 'victim'.

In 2 minds about Neil Lennon but I wish him well, he won me round eventually at Celtic. For the first couple of seasons I hated him but he came across well in the media afterwards. I like him as a pundit aswell.

He will take no prisoners and if we get off to a winning streak I can see us romping the league.

A good start will be imperative as you know what the Scottish media will be like,

Is he good enough? Would he get us through the CL qualifiers to where the real money is?

Wages too high. Plus I don't think he's that good.

I am new on here and a Rangers fan, I have read through many posts & have found difficulty understanding many of them (from both sides).
It seems to me that Celtic fans regard the Scottish Media in general as being biased against them & yet the Rangers fans regard them as being exactly the same way against them, to the extent of the banning some of the BBC journalists by Rangers for deliberately biased reporting!!
Certainly Speirs & Cosgrove are no holds barred Rangers haters & Chick Young is certainly a bit more than 'a lifelong St. Mirren fan' & definitely not a lover of Celtic.
The general feeling amongst most Rangers fans is that Pacific Quay is now run entirely by Celtic minded & bigoted people, I am not saying that I agree but do you Celtic fans think that is a fair assessment? Personally I actually quite enjoy Paddy Bonnar's punditry - his colours are understandably nailed to the mast which is fair enough but he still seems able to remain honest & neutral in his observations.
Radio Clyde's phone in does seem a bit biased towards Celtic fans although big DJ does his best to keep a happy medium.
The other thing that continually surprises me is the Celtic fans mindset that the SPFL & SFA are in any way biased towards Rangers, indeed any rangers forum you wish to look at refers almost always to 'Rhegan' or 'Dungcaster' which apparently stems from them being head hunted & neatly put in place by HR company run by the son in law of the once famous knight of the realm Sir John Reid with the sole purpose of turning Ibrox into an Asda with the help of gangsters. I have no idea if true or not but the Rangers minded people detest & abhor them as much as the Celtic fans seem to! Similarly Lawwell seems to be despised equally by both camps!
All of the Sevco, zombie, Dead club comments should (IMO) hopefully be dispelled come the first Old Firm game at Parkhead - will the programme refer to us as anything other than Rangers? Maybe 'The Rangers'?, personally I would be surprised if Lawwell has the balls to refer to us as anything else, hopefully that will end the nonsense once & for all...or will there be further surprises in store?

If you seriously believe the first new old firm game will " end the nonsense once and for all" you are sadly mistaken. The facts are, Rangers fans will never accept they are new club, Celtic fans will never accept that Rangers are the same club. And so it goes.

I realise I am stretching it by using loan players from during the season but when was the last time that a team from outside Glasgow had the highest number of representatives for Scottish clubs at a tournament?

Aberdeen with 3 in Ward, Church and McGinn whilst the 5 other Scottish clubs represented only have 1 each.

First time that I can ever remember. Could have been 4 if Hayes had made the final cut for Ireland.

World Cups in the 80s when they were very few foreign players in Scotland must be a decent shout, especially when Aberdeen and Dundee United were in ascendency?

I looked back at the times when Aberdeen had Kiriakov, Tzvetanov etc but Rangers had loads more at that time.

In 1986 Dundee United had 5, that was the most that year.

I would have thought it would have been Aberdeen as opposed to United but they did have a decent side back then.

It isn't just Celtic fans, it is fans of all clubs.
none of the guys i know, celtic , partick, st midden think we are a new club, its mainly fans on the internet that go on about it as everybody else stopped caring 3 and a half years ago, the facts are the sfa, spfl, sfl, spl, eca, uefa are all 100% clear we are the same club and have made statements to that effect, you can add in lord glennie, lord nimmo and lord brodie also who are clear club and company are seperate and the club is the same club, hmrc, the stock market, the asa also all back us being the same club, as well as that there are around 15 uk clubs who have been through the same process and remained the same club - middlesborough, leeds, luton, hearts etc - all the credible evidence and precedent backs that we are the same club

compare that to the evidence for a new club - 4 year old newspaper headlines, some cooments from ex players and greens lawye. its absolutely tedious now, celtic fans post daft wee arguments and claim "that means you are a new club" when it shows nothing of the sort, we can provide about 12 credible sources stating that we are the same club which they ignore, this shows why the newclubbers lost the argument years ago, yet they cling to their delusions even though no is really interested any more
