none of the guys i know, celtic , partick, st midden think we are a new club, its mainly fans on the internet that go on about it as everybody else stopped caring 3 and a half years ago, the facts are the sfa, spfl, sfl, spl, eca, uefa are all 100% clear we are the same club and have made statements to that effect, you can add in lord glennie, lord nimmo and lord brodie also who are clear club and company are seperate and the club is the same club, hmrc, the stock market, the asa also all back us being the same club, as well as that there are around 15 uk clubs who have been through the same process and remained the same club - middlesborough, leeds, luton, hearts etc - all the credible evidence and precedent backs that we are the same club

compare that to the evidence for a new club - 4 year old newspaper headlines, some cooments from ex players and greens lawye. its absolutely tedious now, celtic fans post daft wee arguments and claim "that means you are a new club" when it shows nothing of the sort, we can provide about 12 credible sources stating that we are the same club which they ignore, this shows why the newclubbers lost the argument years ago, yet they cling to their delusions even though no is really interested any more
Their own club has to send them letters telling them to wash. I don't think anyone is going to take the opinion of jobless tramps too seriously. I'll stick with UEFA and the ASA and the SFA etc saying it is the same club.

I don't post stuff on Sevco being a new club, so get your facts right. Couldn't care less to be honest.

You and Frankie both blight this forum.

Niall McGinn's goal today was the first ever scored at a Euro or World Cup final's by a current Aberdeen player.

Good to see Hamilton Accies, Killie and Aberdeen players all playing a big part on such a big stage.

Carlton Cole leaves Celtic. Another dud we signed.

Hope Celtic sign another striker as Griffiths will be only one left soon.

Spfl non old firm players playing international football.

Hope Strachan was paying attention

Late in the match NI put Magennis on ahead of the higher profile Lafferty and Grigg. Good decision as he held the ball up well and set up the 2nd goal but I couldn't imagine Strachan ever making a decision like that.

It's good that we won't ever qualify for a tournament and have to be embarrassed in front of hundreds of millions. Keep Strachan and let him keep picking the same old Celtic, ex-Celtic and Championship duds.

Is Ibrox turning into a retirement home? the last player to score for Celtic was in Primary 3 when Sevco's latest signing was 30!

It's another box office signing that Neil Doncaster seems to think the Scottish Premiership needs.

Davie Weir was 37 when he signed:

Rangers:

Scottish Premier League: 2008–09, 2009–10, 2010–11
Scottish Cup: 2008, 2009
Scottish League Cup: 2008, 2010, 2011

I see another one is close to being wheeled in to the Ibrox Care Home, Niko Kranjcar last seen playing well circa. 2009 back when Clint Hill was only approaching his mid 30s.

At this rate, I expect fat Sally and Goram to play for Rangers again.

Good couple of draws for us in Europa qualifying.

At least we should be able to coast into Round 3 without having to play any Dutch or Croatian sides this time. We won't be seeded in Round 3 but it's not really an issue imo.

What is this guy Aucho all about? I doubt anyone at Rangers or Aberdeen had ever heard of him until he starting txting the Daily Record on a daily basis.

I hope so but never convinced by any Scottish team in these summer qualifiers there have been some absolute horror results in recent times

Think our front two of Griffiths and Aitchison should see us into the next round seeing as we haven't got anyone else up front yet and I presume we'll be punting Ciftci soon.

If they can't beat the might of CS Fola Esch, Flora Tallin or Lincoln Red Imps of Gibraltar
Jesus, look at the level Scottish sides are being placed amongst now.

Derek McInnes - "Once we watch them, we'll be able to say whether it's a good draw or not"

If the Dons overcome the mighty Luxembourgans of CS Fola Esch, there's every possibility that Vikingur of the Faroe Islands lie in wait. I'd fancy FK Ventspils of Lithuania may prevail over the Faroese though.

Latvian, not Lithuanian. We beat a Latvian side 8-0 two seasons ago so would fancy us against them.

I see the team who beat us last season have just signed Arshavin. Most people thought they were a diddy side because of where they came from last season despite the fact they were paying one of their players £100k per week. I'd fancy us if we were to draw them again this season though.
