Realistically the third qualifying round seems to be the sealing for majority of Scottish clubs in Europe

Nice to see you are still obsessed about Celtic. You do realise its only half time? Celtic will win 2nd leg and the result will be forgotten.

I seem to remember Rangers have had plenty of dodgy results in Europe. You should also remember that your team will probably get humped if they are in Europe again.

You just lost to a Gibraltar pub team and you are pretending it isn't worrying? The most embarrassing result in the history of Scottish football and disgracing the nation when you should have lost 2 or 3. Good old Brenda wasn't embarrassed though, imagine what would actually embarrass him?

Big shout out to King Efe, what a player

Rodgers will want a young side with legs as he will have the team playing high intensity, high pressing football. Hunting the ball down to win it back quickly.

No passengers allowed.
He's have been better off stopping a Celtic supporters bus and playing the passengers. It was probably a Red Imps midfielder driving the coach. High intensity indeed

It wasn't a one off game, Celtic can still win and get through.

It's also Rodgers first game for goodness sake. Plenty of time for him to make changes.

Ambrose won't play again after this so sorry to disappoint you.

You got beat off a team who were priced 40/1 to win the game. It's the worst result in the history of Scottish football. It can't get any lower than that and the manger still isn't embarrassed? At least Barnes could rap.

Beaten by the British on the 12th of July and big Efe should be knighted by her Maj for that performance. It was breathtaking.

As I (rightly) said yesterday, huge sweep, sweep operation has begun in earnest ... maybe you can erase it from your history (along with all the other unsavoury incidents).

Mo Johnston is a complete idiot, he was probably off his head with booze saying Rangers were Barcelona.

You really are a deluded Rangers fan if you think your team play like Barcelona.

What next, Waghorn as good as Messi?
Wasn't us who was comparing young 'open goal' Roberts to Messi.........

As you said yourself Francis, the Scottish Cup is a diddy cup. Celtic didn't care about winning it hence the lacklustre performance.
You HAVE to be at the wind-up. You cannot write that in any seriousness.

Bit rich from you who took a tantrum over the cup final. Pot Kettle Black.

Funny how Crofter never talks about Rangers, only Celtic.

I and others replied/reacted to lies told about our fans that day. Given that we were there. Big difference.

European draws suggest that it will only be Celtic still in after this round , if they get passed Lincoln red imps and I expect a trip to Lithuania would be preferred

I think we have a decent draw. I'd fancy our chances against Levski Sofia, not sure Maribor are great either.

Assumming we reach the 3rd round of course.

Not so sure Maribor have beaten the old firm plenty times, think you would need an exceptional performance to progress.

Unfortunately the third qualifying round is normally the limit for outwith Celtic

That was Ally's Rangers team so can discount that. I remember the game at Ibrox, Rangers were all over them for the whole match.

When they beat Celtic it was just after Ronny took charge and I think since then they have only won 1 of 9 matches in Europe.

I really don't fear them, not sure it will be them we face anyway as they failed to score at home against Levski Sofia and dont appear to travel well.

And what exactly have Aberdeen achieved in European competition recently that would merit them being the overwhelming favourites against whoever they meet out of Maribor and Levski Sofia?

Aberdeen were once a feared but respected club in European club competition. But that was over 30 years ago now.

Can you point out where I said we were overwhelming favourites? I said I would fancy us against Sofia and didn't think Maribor were too great either. Absolutely nothing like what you are suggesting.

For what it's worth I think Rijeka who we scudded last season are a better side than either of our potential opponents.

Pretty easy win for Rangers yesterday beating Motherwell 2-0. Looked a bit rusty for 25 minutes and then dominated the entire game. Special mention to the inept referee for the worst decision you'll see this season with the handball from the keeper and the other handball in the box that was a penalty.
