One question that was raised on Sky Sports was about the rights of footballers if Scotland split form the UK and didn't get in to the EU. Could restrict transfers for Scottish footballers.

You don't think the bunch of kids in the Green Brigade being obsessed by events which happened in another country before they were born is a little depressing?
I mean I'm sure they'll grow out of it. |

Do you find Hearts annual Remembrance of McCrae's Battalion depressing?
I've never given it much thought, though I did actually think putting a line about it in the 2013 version of the Hearts song FOH put out was out of place. I'm am about as anti religion as Richard Dawkins these days; the Glasgow divide depresses me at heart because, in my 'umble opinion it is a divide over a God that probably does not exist and even if there is a supreme being it certainly does not conform to religions that were created by man. |

Scotland squad announced today good to see Andrew Robertson in the squad.
Why are both Fletcher's in the squad one recovering from injury and one injured |

Well done to the entire defence on helping getting Forster the record.
A good result today, just a pity who scored the first. |

I take it you don't like Griffiths? Guy might be a bit off a prat off field but he scored a great goal today. Stokes looks better with him in the side.
Like you said he scored a great goal today but I never cheered it. It is kind of ironic as jill1812 said similar things about Goodwillie when he faced court charges and I couldn't understand the stance she was taking. |

I don't want people who make racist remarks anywhere near Celtic.

Jill had Goodwillie tried, convicted and executed before he'd confirmed his name in a courtroom.
I'm just drawing a comparison. |

Congrats to Fraser Forster
Not sure when they add the minutes up whether it includes injury time or is it just 90 minutes ? |

Just the 90 minutes.
Thank you My brother was of the opinion that the reason Edwin Van der Saar was ahead of him was down to Fergie-Time

And we need to remember that Goodwillie was never found guilty in court just as Griffiths was never, as far as I am aware, found guilty of a criminal offence over his comments.
I'm just drawing a comparison. |

I agree with you there which kind of argues against my own point!

Ryan Giggs was the perfect role model for about 15 years and held up as an example to all whilst all the while he was playing in the shallow end with his sister in law. Who knew? Who cares? Does it matter? Player x can make a racist comment and on the face of it i agree with you, wouldn't want him near my club, but the reality is player y who is a hero could be a klu klux klan member in his spare time and we know nothing about it. The reality is we don't know any of these people other than what they do on the pitch. |

Exactly. The problem is does someone only become an arsehole when you read about it?

So Martin O'Neill stands in the way of Gordon Strachan - I think it'll be between Ireland and Scotland for 2nd and 3rd place - which is enough for the playoffs.

![]() My problem is we have players coming through but they wont get a game. It will be the long term many campaign failures like Brown, Hutton, Morrison etc who will still make up the team |
