Messi isn't usually running past a postman and a copper. He'll never make it at City.
Your joke falls flat as Celtic went through. Epic fail.

Frankie compares Rangers with Barca. I can see why, both Messi and Rangers have been caught not paying their taxes.
You had the Smelly Pele and now Paddy Messi getting plaudits for running past bricklayers and taxi drivers. He wasn't getting called Messi when he missed that open goal from about 5 yards in the semi

You lost 1-0 away to a part time team from Gibraltar. The worst result in the history of Scottish football, and you are dancing about because you beat them at home? Pollok Juniors could beat them home and away. Wait until you face a team who have players who play for a living.

Astana will be a very tough tie for Celtic. Kairat looked a very good side when we played them last season and Astana pipped them to the title.

Easy 4-0 aggregate win for us, next round will be tougher.

Are Imps not a part time team though, you are acting as if you were playing a decent team.....
About 50/50 between full time and part time.

I would have fancied our chances against the Lithuanians more but these are the types of games teams from Scotland need to win to help the co-efficient.

Easy win for Celtic last night just as it should have been last week with all the chances we created. We need to be converting more shots though.

Fair play Hibs. Didn't expect them to win in bronby.

Aberdeen done well to win, home and away. Looked a tricky tie before hand.

Hibs done great to take Brondby to penalties and can consider themselves unlucky.

Hearts.... less said about them the better, possibly the worst ever knock out of Europe by a Scottish team? Id bet Irish and Welsh teams could have beaten that mob.

They didn't. Losing on penalties is a defeat. As for Hearts shocking. No wonder the Scottish coefficient is in the sewer

Terrible result for Hearts, Aberdeen getting put out by Bohemians would have been about as bad a result at the time.

Hibs had to win in 90 minutes to take the game to extra time, they won in 90 minutes.

After 120 minutes they were still 1-0 up tonight.

They won the leg tonight.

As usual non Celtic teams will be gone by the third qualifying round.

Aberdeen will likely be taken apart by Maribor unfortunately

Yeah.
But they're out. Did you miss that part?
As for Hearts....oh dear.

No, I didn't miss that part as it is possible to both win a leg of a tie and lose the tie itself.

misawa posted at 90 minutes saying Hibs won in Brondby and they did.

Not sure about Aberdeen V Maribor, I noticed Ibraimi their playmaker who was their best player when they played Celtic last season signed for Astana who Celtic are to play so they might have lost some of their other best players too. They were quite lucky to knock us out too when they did I always thought we were comfortable against them, im sure Johansen blocked a Van Dijk header on the line that would have put us 2-0 up away from home.

They're a decent team but I think Aberdeen could beat them.

Although they have a good few scalps in Europe in recent years, have beaten Celtic, Rangers, Palermo, Wigan, Zulte Waregem and Panathinaikos and have drawn with Chelsea, Tottenham, Sevilla, Celtic, Rangers, Sporting Lisbon, Schalke and Braga. Results that would be beyond Aberdeen.

Dont know why you think it's good to see Scottish teams doing poorly, it will affect your team as you will have to play in 4 qualifying rounds in Europa League next season if you finish 2nd or 3rd.

We need all the teams to do better so the co efficient goes up, so in future Scottish teams don't have to play qualifying rounds.

People are actually disputing whether Hibs won in Bronby?

How hard is it to understand. They lost 1-0 at home and then won 1-0 away which took the game into extra time. Extra time which wouldn't of been possible if they never won the game.

Yes they lost the tie on pens but the score last night was 1-0 before and after Extra time to Hibs.

Hibs play in the 2nd tier of Scottish football and should take positives for taking a side in the Danish top division all the way

Like saying you 'take positives' from finishing second after Slippy G killed your chances of the league. Hibs are out before the league starts, there is no 'positives to take'. Brondby are hardly Barcelona.

Rangers will look after themselves. Expecting a load of duds to help you out like Hearts and Hibs is nonsense, they get beat off Maltese teams at home and go out in hilarious penalty shoot outs before the league starts. Even your mob was beaten by a part time Gibraltar team and who knows what hilarity Aberdeen will throw up?

All season trying to qualify for Europe and acting like it is a great achievement and they are out before the league has kicked off. It's brilliant

Rangers will get humped next season in Europe.

Come back on here when Rangers get in Champions League or Europa League group stages. They won't.

Your gloating will come back to haunt you.

You seem to have a habit of comparing teams to Barcelona.

Brondby may not be Barcelona but I expect them to be able to beat a side playing in Scottish Football's 2nd tier.

One would think Rangers have a stellar record in Europe. Just remind us of how far Rangers got in Europe the last time they played in European competition? Scotland's record across the board in European competition isn't good enough and well below par but don't think your own team is absolved from this as there record in Europe also sucks.

“The Hearts team played very simply and we read how they played. The played with long balls. When we scored, we put one more defender on the pitch and they only wanted to play with long balls. We like this. We have players who can answer this, it is very simple.”

Birkirkara manager. A damning quote.

Quite. Frankie is quick at laughing another teams in Europe but forgets how bad Rangers were in Europe last time. If they play in Europe next season they will struggle.

You got beat off a Gibraltar part time team, that result will never be forgotten. Wait until you play an actual full time team and roll out all the excuses like you did last season when you couldn't win a game in a duff Europa league group. Scottish football teams are a joke in European competition and an embarrassment at international level.
