Rangers didn't need 9 to challenge the team the 2015-16 team beat at Hampden, we needed at least half a dozen to a---replace some deadwood and b--to compete in a higher league. There is more to the SPL than the Bhoys.
IMO your team/squad wasn't particularly impressive last year and exposed badly at times by teams like Aberdeen and ourselves. Not to mention Ross County. 2-0 vs East Kilbride, not exactly stellar stuff. TBH, you weren't massively superior to Hearts or the Dons, but stronger overall. And a bigger squad. If you think that team is going to win this year against a much stronger Rangers and Aberdeen, Hearts as well, you are in for a shock. Celtic will need to play a lot better than last year.
With us in the Champ, and Aberdeen falling away, you still managed to win just one of the three available trophies (in fact no treble since the Rangers troubles of 2012, Rangers still the last to win one).
'enough' may not be good enough.
